Hi to all!
I have a question about this website. How could I change my user name? I mean the one that is viewed when I post a message for example (in my case =FSI=Sld.Richard Sharpe) Thanks Luca -------------------- "I pray God to give me one hundred years of war without any day of battle" Fernando Francesco d'Avalos Marquess of Pescara Battle of Pavia (21th February 1525) =FSI= Forze Speciali Italiane |

I mean the one that is viewed when I post a message for example (in my case =FSI=Sld.Richard Sharpe) Thanks Luca It would have been useful if you had posted the name that you want to change it to, so I could actually have changed it Also your signature is too big, 600X100 and 100kb total is the limit, please change it as soon as possible. -------------------- |

Seems to be a bug with either the RSS feed or the site.
http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?cat=news&id=1376 Leads to an error page, but still shows up on the RSS? 1377 and 1375 work perfectly fine though. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Maybe it's me just being paranoid, but a lot of people asked for this but the image size changed aonly when Dave "protested" about it.
Don't want to say that you are Elitist, but it gaves the idea. EDIT: Arg... spelling. This post has been edited by Benoist: Oct 19 2008, 01:17 |

EDIT: Arg... spelling. This issue has been in discussed in the private moderation section (to which newshounds/recruits do not have access until they have proven that they are really dedicated to our site way) for several days now. I even had to look at the CP thread twice to find a "protest" and didn't find any So I'll chose option A -------------------- |

Maybe it's me just being paranoid, but a lot of people asked for this but the image size changed aonly when Dave "protested" about it. As you may have noticed, we have started a member survey to find out your thoughts about the forums rules, other similiar polls covering other aspects of this site might follow. It's understood that we won't do without certain things, but we will work so that this site can glisten in renewed splendor as soon as possible. Don't want to say that you are Elitist, but it gaves the idea. EDIT: Arg... spelling. However, the file size rule exemption is only valid in the Combat Photography Thread, please bear that in mind. Any infractions will still be dealt with accordingly. -------------------- |

First of all this doesn't really belong in this thread as I doubt this is something related to this site or this specific addon. Second, you should try using another internet browser to test if it is actually related to the website or if it is due to your internet browser being broken. If it isn't something wrong with your computer then don't really know as the link works perfectly fine for me. |

How in the hell is not being able to download from the site not a site problem? Even if it is local side, it's still a problem he's having with the site. Anyways... Are you on any sort of proxy server? It sounds a bit like a message I get from invalid URLs on the proxy over here. If this is the case you should have a go at tweak your proxy's settings (if you can). Particularly those related to ftp stuff. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

I had myself a lot of problems while trying to test download for addons I have been posting about.
What's your browser ? I had problems with Firefox and that's bad because I like it and it's my "by default browser". I know it's Firefox because DL link was working with Explorer. I have already reloaded Firefox and it seems to cure the problem. -------------------- |

Sorry guys, I've been 2weeks without any ArmA mods and I was freaking out.
The thing is, I have dial-up at home and so I was using the connection on Campus for downloads, but armedassult.info stopped working for me. I think what was said is the problem, it must be a problem with my settings, but I can't change them. Oh, and the worst thing is I'm in Australia and don't live directly in a town, so getting broadband is ... ah, difficult. I was using two browsers but neither worked, both gave me the same error. |
