i'm an ECP addict, and i just want to know if Arma have some features like ECP. i mean flies on dead bodies, the bots who talk etc i think flys were in, i definatly remember reading about flys and butterflys. talking i would say no. i loved men getting out of tank on fire. would be great to see that in ArmA. -------------------- |

I would suggest that once we actually get the game and walk around we should see some of the ECP features, IE talking bots, getting out of tanks on fire, etc. We'll see

I just hope it dosen't get slated in English game magazines. Not that it will all round but that Czech one that gave it 55% was a bit of a surprise to me.

55%? Probably becuase they are basing their reviews on the competition, BF2. I doubt they liked the realism ie: 1 hit kill, or the fact that they cant pick up medipacks . You can always tell a good game mag here in the UK cos it will tell you about the game and where its strenths are. Unlike some which are only interested in graphics and killing ... like BF2. If anything a bit of a low review wouldntbe too bad for the game. It will keep all the 14 yearold noobs out rock on folks, carver -------------------- |

Do we know yet if, when a tank is hit with a shell/RPG, will it be the same effects in OFP? (ie go black and blow up) or will it be immobalized, turret blow off, etc?

Didn't see anything like this yet. Maybe someone will post a picture of that in BIS forum.

Any sources? Please backup such statements. I'm sorry, I have no idea where I read it.. Thinking about it now though, I doubt it will be implemented... It would mean them having to work on all the individual animations or whatnot for each vehicle on top of other effects such as blackening and burning.. Looks like we'll just have to ask some Czech owner if he could confirm |

That would be extremely cool if that could happen. My favourite feature is the 'grass' not just plan old textured ground, but 3D grass.. w00t..
