Goddamnit... while searching (still!) for the vests I wondered into some other things... found a very nice kit:

Tokyo Marui M14
-Guarder FTK 120
-Guarderin FTK 120
-Guarderin improved cutofflever
-Marui piston
-Systema Aluminum piston head
-Systema M120 spring
-KM precision barrel
-Camo paint
5 Marui mags (fitted with Magpuls)
One Cyma Hi-Cap
SOCOM 16" barrel
Normal 20" (?) barrel
Silencer
Picatinny rail
Bipod
Aimpoint
Cyma M14

2 guns as the Marui one has broken gear box... a fracture on the front right. Wonder if I could get someone to do a new CNC gear box for a small price...

Oh, and the deal goes for 350 euros.

You can buy V7 gearboxes on RSOV.com and Ebaybanned iirc, or your local Airsoft shop should do a repair service if they are worth their money.

The map looks like an OFP Map (in style), but the town looks like the village that you capture Al Ashad (the arab guy) in CoD4.

New stuff... Wasatch (Proud LWPC) arrived, along with Bolles and a Guarder hydration pack.

Going to test out the stuff I have and work out a few nice combos, maybe. Mostly aiming for a high speed, low drag solution, as is sort of evident with my carrying system of choice...

Had a "small walk" (a tad over 2 miles with the first half a mile or so running) with the gear. Wearing the Wasatch with the Guarder Hydration Pack on the back as a backpack, holding few items of clothing and camera with its accessories, with the Guarder Dump Pouch strapped to the leg.

The vest itself is very nice. Has some differences to few other manufacturers products (incl. a missing D-ring on the right shoulder strap), but generally the same. Large back pocket with a raised open pocket for the SAPI plate, to keep it covering the vital organs. Easily fits a hydration bladder in addition to the plate; in that configuration the plate is closer to the wearer while the bladder rests again the outer side. On the front, there's another SAPI plate pocket. The foldable (?) chest panel has a map pocket inside it, which stretches down behind the mag pouches I believe. 6 mag pouches total with the rightmost one having no Velcro flap on it.

Properly adjusted (and most likely, thanks to the soft inserts) the vest is very solid on the body. Doesn't make you feel like you're inside a block of concrete like CIRAS does (unless you maybe fill it with pouches), as in it still retains a fair bit of mobility. I was able to reach across the vest to attach the side buckle that keeps the front and back bits together together with the shoulder buckles. After properly adjusting the vest I was able to run and crouch with no problem - absolutely no wobble at all. Yet the vest didn't feel tight, as I was able to breathe quite easily while running, considering all the gear I had. The vest does hug you quite well, so prepare to have a wet shirt at the end of the game due to the vest pushing against your back. Didn't feel uncomfortable though.

The hydration pack is a small backpack designed to carry a 3L bladder pouch. The maker is Guarder and the material is, as usual, Cordura in WL and OD. As with most Guarder stuff, the pack feels solid enough and looks good. It has a small pocket on the outside - fits DSLR quite nicely, carried my 50D in it - and a big main pocket that's divided on the inside with a mesh net. Both pockets had double zip pulls (you can access the pockets from left, right or above). The main pocket zip ends right around where the small pocket starts, meaning you're able to open up the top bit only. The main pocket itself will easily fit the 3L bladder, and most likely a few small items, too. Carried a field jacket and the sweater in it, and they fit snugly. The main pocket has covered holes for the drinking hose on both sides and the top. Above the small pocket is a large patch of Velcro for patches and such.

The pack is covered in MOLLE on both sides and it has it's own 2 MOLLE attachment straps on the back side, meaning you can attach it to any MOLLE-compatible system with enough loops. You can also fit additional pockets on the sides of the pack or on the smaller pocket, like I did. Shoulder straps have plastic buckles (medium-sized rounded ones, they feel quite durable) on them and good adjustements. Chest strap for better weight distribution while carrying it without anything on the front is also provided, again with a buckle. The shoulder straps are lightly padded and removable, as they're only attached to the D-rings at the corners of the back side. The attachement is durable and fairly quick to use, the same idea is used on many carrying straps. 3 straps for carrying equipment are provided too, which are quite similar ones to the shoulder straps (minus padding) and also attach to D-rings the same way. I used them to attach the tripod to the side of the pack with great success.

All-round views... merc/free loadout, with the sweater added for chilly weather.

Kneeling down with the gear, no issues

And the vest itself... has a Phantom pouch of unknown name and a double pistol mag pouch. Inside are SAPI plates (SAPI-shaped soft inserts... canvas covered foam) and a 3L hydration bladder.

Details of the stuff I carried - MP3 player, cell phone, few pens, a notebook, wallet, IDs, sunglasses, pistachio bar, 3 mags...
