hello, Black Hawk Down is a mission that is brought to you by Lyaoz and Corby1909...
It will be initially released as a SP mission and then will advance into a huge 32 player coop epic.
The concept of this mission is to bring the action and strategy of the movie and the real life event into arma, and the team and I think that we have captured it fairly well.
so far the mission will require just 3 things: ACE v1.09, Sakakah v.1.0 and ArmA v1.18, download links will be included with the next post as well as many W.I.P screenshots and perhaps a short trailer, so stay tuned!
please be aware that the first release will be quite buggy as this is a very large scale and intense mission, so feel free to post bug reports here as well! as for performance, the testers of this project reccomend a moderate to high end machine, as quite a lot happens.

hey guys,
yes that is correct we are doing a black hawk down mission coop and multiplayer, but, we do need your help as lyaoz has said above ^^ but the main reason why i am posting is because i am requesting some help
with scripts.
one, helicopters getting shot down and crash.
two, fly off and dont drop of guys because of enemy fire.
tree, helicopters dont go were there ment to go.

yes guys, at the moment the main thing that we are having a problem with is a respawn script for the MP adaption, the only other thing that I am having problems with is movement of vehicles within the city... by "movement" i mean object collision, moving in formation and behaviour under fire, is there an urban driving script out there that i can use for more fluent vehicle movement? or is the terrible driving going to be part of the "new coop experiance"
anyway, hope that we can get this cleared up by the release date (hopefully)

From my past experience ... for I have stopped playing ArmA 2 years ago:
- Drive vehicles in "formation" in town is a nightmare but as Sakakah is built along straight line streets, it's not really a big problem, the only available formation being the "column" one ^^, turns are the only real problem like in RL !
If you mean IA driven vehicles column, use UPS and let them find their way.
That's what I have done on my own missions.
- On the revive script topic, as I have never been an expert, use the latest Norrin ArmA revive and don't forget to have all units named in the script init as on editor, using a distinctive "long" name in order to avoid some problems with script param.

as for the respawn script corby, its in and running, the only problem i have with it at the moment is that the unit will loose his kit when he dies, is there any way i can prevent this from happening? here is the particulat script im using
