ROMEO 2.5

Enjoy fighting as part of a team?
Enjoy community made British content?

Romeo 2.5 is the callsign of a new ArmA Platoon formed by gamers who enjoy exactly that.
Battles consist of Infantry Rifle Sections, Recce and occasionally a Fire Support Group, along with top cover and transport from Lynx, Chinook, Apache and Harrier aircraft.
Infantry Sections use doctrines such as mutual support, fire and maneuver and obstacle crossings.
Elements keep in touch via Signallers and Forward Air Controllers. Support and transport is guided using lasers and smoke markers, along with radio comms and procedures to keep the death from above on target.

Gaming in Romeo 2.5 ranges from small co-op missions and the occasional noob-fest deathmatch to let off steam, to large deployments spanning many missions, with a central realistic storyline, and where performance on one mission dictates the situation in the next.
Romeo 2.5 also have plans for future Joint Ops.

Enlist, and you'll undergo an initial aptitude test to help the beginners, and ensure the veterans don't get too patronised. wink.gif
You'll then be assigned to a Rifle Section, and can climb the ladder from there, limited only by your own enthusiasm.
Specialist and Aircraft training is available to all members for use on more formal missions.

Romeo 2.5 currently use ArmA 1.14, ACE 1.08, a core pack of community addons and maps, and the occasional pre-deployment pack.
