Hi, I'm making a training map for my unit and I've placed different groups at different stations.
This screenshot shows the multiplayer role selection, I want to switch out for example the 1-1-A to Helicopter, changing the unit name didn't help at all.

Write this in the initialization on the group leader of the squad: this setGroupid ["Helicopter", ""] and there you go. The squad will now have the name Helicopter in the sidechat and the role selection.

. The problem with that is that they will still have the name 1-1-A in the role selector. Are you sure you wrote this line right? It works for me.

This is what I've done on every group:
Still no change when I fire up a server.

But if I place a trigger won't that mean that I will have to start and spawn, etc. before the group name changes?

Stupid me. This dont take effect before the real gameplay have started. So when you are in the role selecter the spawn of the units have not started so the script have not started up before that so this just effect the sidechat and nothing else. Sorry for that. sweatingbullets.gif

Is there any way to trigger this upon server start?
