parachute, i want parachute for my soldier Options

Hey I need your help I want do mission with 101st airborne but i need parachute for them,what i must do??
I tried to spawn empty parachute with name "padak" and then I write to the initializion "this moveindriver padak" it works but is there some easier way??

Yes, i.e. if you want them to para drop from a plane.

Example:


place a group of soldiers.

place a c130 (preferrably set to "flying" and type flyinheight 200 in the init field of the c130) so its got some altitude for a safe para drop.

moving on...


give the c130 a name (i.e. c130)
give the group leader of your troops a name (i.e. leader)

in the init field of the group leader type : {_x moveincargo c130} foreach units group this;

that will make sure your group starts out inside the plane.

Next create a drop zone (where you want your troops to jump out of the plane)

this will be a trigger.

set the opening parameters to BLUFOR present once
in the condition field put: this && c130 in thislist

in the activation line put: {_x action ["EJECT", c130];unassignVehicle _x} forEach units group leader;


what the above trigger does, is when the c130 enters the trigger radius, the troops will eject the plane and paradrop to the ground.

simply set a waypoint for the c130 to fly tot he trigger.


I know it seems like alot but it isnt, once you do it once, you will realize its far easier (and realistic since your dropping from the plane) than spamming empty chutes and assigning soldiers to them.

thank you my friend but i got problem this problem got only people with 31st Normandy mod because i spawn without weapon in MP there is some fix i must create init.sqf and write there something but it dont work

Im not sure I understand you. you can type in slovak if you want if it would be easier to explain. (I am american, but my grand parents are from slovakia, I can understand it when spoken/written to me, although I dont speak it well at all )

Please be aware the English section is for English - and only English - communication. It might seem a bit fascist-y, but we can moderate posts we can't read! If you want to use any other language, post in the relevant language section, or use PMs

There's currently not a Slovakian language section, you might want to post in the site comments thread to see if there's enough of a demand for it, we could see about making one
