Hey there, i recently just bought a new laptop and wanted to get back into games i used to play ages ago so i found my Armed Assault and installed it, it installed fine but when i launch it these boxes come up before the launch, but the last 2 don't ge checked, and

No Entry, 'bin\config.bin.ControllerSchemes'.

pops up :\ so i click okay on that and the screen goes black for a few seconds like the game is gonna launch, but then it doesn't, instead this pops up

Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha

I looked around the internet for a solution :\ a few websites said you needed to update you're direct x, but i'm already on the latest direct x, a few other websites sed you need to download a no cd crack, so i tried like 4 or 5 of em all different versions, and none of that worked, and i'm 100 % sure it's not because my laptop sucks, i spent 1700 dollars on it, here's my specs

This may sound obvious, but have you tried updating your graphics drivers?

A lot of computers don't come with them fully installed for some reason.

Please don't bump threads. If people don't know the answer to your problem, asking them again isn't going to help.
