Oh, hey.


I'm releasing a pack of SLA troops. Here's a public beta.

Well, it's really a final version, but I'm paranoid that there's some huge bug that no one's noticed yet....

Known Bugs:
-Desert troops don't have launchers in 3rd person (Fixed)
-Material irregularities with some wound textures (Fixed extreme cases, still working on full solution)
-SPF text warping while moving (Fixed)

Downloaded. Looking prety good but:
1. All weapons got same sound - that's not good.
2. On 3rd person view RPG-7 is... invisible.


Addon is realy good, but you should add more things like:
1. Civilian personel
2. Coast Guard
3. Air Controls (SLA Air Force Personel)
4. Marine

Anyway, those are only suggestions

Which character is this on? I know the FFWs used to have this problem but I thought I'd fixed it...




Definitely being considered (have some old Militia units lying around somewhere, wouldn't be too much trouble to implement them). Was going to add marines, but I really want to keep this more with the Army, than the Navy or Airforce.... doesn't mean I won't do an SLAAF or SLN pack though!

I think you've done a very good job with these units, and very unique when it comes to the 2030 version of the SLA. I haven't had the same problem with the RPG-7 as mentioned, not for the motorized infantry RPG grenadiers (AKM/AK74) at least.

The SPF camouflage throws me off a bit, but no complaints otherwise.

SPF are supposed to be OMON-esque. It seemed right for them to have gorod style camo (http://sovietarmystuff.com/images/products/200801101350090.gorod.jpg). Quite partial to it myself!

The RPG issue is due to a missing proxy. I've confirmed this is on the desert soldiers. Already fixed this for version 1.0.

Well, its just a small bug. You should fix weapons: add more sounds, change RPKs firing rate (too fast) and its accuracy

I know I said I was going to get this done a while back... but... well... I got distracted by a shiny object... sorry... it won't happen again...
Some new stuff, lots of updated and fixed old stuff... and I still haven't removed a lot of the junk there.
