Here's a link to the Editing: Armed Assault section of BIS' Wiki.
It contains a lot of information, including a complete list of all scripting commands. Check it out!... might be usefull QUOTE(Lt HuNTeR @ at the OFP.info forum, some time ago) Only posting code is allowed (and correcting mistakes in the code).

I renamed it and pinned it, a la the old OFP.info forum.

Whatever happened to the English translation of the Mission Editor's Guide for ArmA? Is it true that there will no longer be a *official* English translation of the book? If it's true, is it legally possible for someone to translate it? I'd hate to read another poorly translated tutorial that I cannot understand, or what they are even saying.

I didnt know there was an editors guide for OFP? At least i never missed it, so i wont miss it for ArmA, after all, we got www.ofpec.com and the Biki

On armed assault zone, there's a video of a mission being made for arma, and the scripts, etc are mostly the same as in ofp
eg. when the SF Saboteurs are moved into the parachutes, he only says "this moveindriver p1" which you can use in OFP. -------------------- "And on the eighth day, god created armed assault...."

i saw that too...much is then same but ArmA also has a lot of new scripting commands, which are also shown at the Biki...
I have a Dutch editing guide which was in the Gold Upgrade package. It was actually more a walkthrough for the CWC campaign, with some pages added about editing. Nothing too spectacular. But that book which is shipped with the German Gold Package looks very interesting. Perhaps i'll buy it when ArmA lies in the stores in my poor country:( |

Basically it just explains what all the different types of waypoints are for. I'm hoping that there will be much more useful stuff in the new editing guide - animations lists and so forth |

I believe that the editing guide that comes with the german ArmA version will only be released in germany and in german.

We don't know that yet for certain. 505 Games has yet to confirm what will be in their special edition

OK, now i need firts time an animation of sitting on the ground, but with this whan Lkner game (OFPEC game viewer) i cant find this animation. Who know how is this one called?
