Mhmm... So... where do i place it? It goes in the init right? but in the init script? A command like this should be used in a script. I use one to terminate a movie. If used at the start of a mission, you may need titleCut["", "BlackIn"] to see the world when you're ready for it to appear. |

uhh... if you pay attemption, when the mission starts, there's always a black in...
if i add 1 more 'black in', as you suggest, nothing will happen Lets see the options: Black out: blacks out too late. Black in: does noting. Black: same as black out. Black faded: it fades black screen... again, it does it too late. that's why i came to the forums, to find an 'unconventional' way of doing it PD: the triggers have a trap, all triggers get activated 0.5 or 1 sec later than it should. That's why it's necessary to use a script (just commenting) Thanks anyhow! Best Regards, SGJackson! This post has been edited by SGJackson: May 24 2010, 05:05 |

This is true, however I may have misunderstood what you want to achieve. In case you haven't tried it, if you see a mission that starts in a way you're looking for, un-pbo it and see what they did as far as technique goes. Just a thought anyway.

Harvest Red and Eagle Wing are essentially "addons" so a lot of the paths and such are defined elsewhere in the mega AddOns folder under ArmA 2. The Harvest Red logo can be found in ui.pbo under data, look for the "startup" paa files, it's the first of several. I have found some of the user missions/campaigns, such as Operation Cobalt, to be superbly scripted, and since they are not "addons" per se, they are much easier to digest
