There was so many sites that do so, and we had in 2 days more than 10TB traffic.
Im must pay for the traffic - so i cant agree with direct linking our content on all arma sites.
If you want to see our content so link to the forum not to the content.

No, i dont want to prevent the free use of the pictures and videos.
You can copy the stuff on your own server and host it there (naturally with reference, thats a a point of honor for me - and i hope for all "old" OFP Fans)
Direct linking is an big problem, they dont pay for the webspace and traffic they used.
So how you can forfend such an proceeding.
I beg your pardon, hope you are not resentfully.

yeh the pitch in the voces keeps changing. the vidio with tail rotor failure in bloody cool. i can already imaging that in MP, with players leaping out with chutes to escpae the wild spining.

When the KA-50 (it's the only one I've seen) gets hit by an AA missle, the top rotor fails and the chopper crash lands. The damage done to the chopper varies som landing to landing, but the pilot survives. In on of my missions the AI pilot went on playing Spetnaz and killed alot of RACs. xD

lol - last time i checked tail rotor failiure on a chopper means you go down...not round and round for 2 mins and up and down rofl. Its a good start
watching the vid posted there during the big fight i couldnt help but notice..."Engage that camel?" lol bis joke? (i know the sopwith camel)

Oh and what do you mean with the tail rotor thing? Not like that in real life? Well dunno, depends on what the pilot does, too, and the chopper, speed, payload (>> lift generated)... might as well do it if you try to keep the thing up, not sure.

Actually, I tried the tail rotor failure. It goes down ALOT quicker than on that video. However, I tried it in an open space, so it might be so slow to go down because of the forest below.

Yeah exactly. Christ, it doesn't even sound like it's a radio conversation, just plain voices... no background noise either. I expected a lot more than that from BIS. It's just little things that can be done much better without too much hassle.. another example: the green Black Hawks. Why the hell are they green? Is is true that the Army have green choppers instead of black ones? If not, I think it's just stupid that BIS makes 'em green while they could also make them black with exactly the same amount of work done to it.

Looks like quite many of the Blackhawks in US Army service are actually OD.

They might appear to be black due to lightning conditions also. Glare, angle and shadow and general weather can have an huge effect on the outcome. Hell, the only UH-60 I've seen was OD!
Also, don't mix 160th SOAR, USAF and regular Army choppers. No-no. Just because few special units fly them painted in black, doesn't mean the whole Army inventory is painted in black.

Uh uh uh! I dont want to read such random/unchecked comments here. You only hear the radio voices when the unit is far away, when they are close to you they dont use the radio but shout (you can even hear commands from other squads close to you), which is IMO a great feature (why would use you your radio when the person you are talking to is next to you?).

So here we go my first Armed Assault video. Its not fancy ( i will make one of those though )
Its just plain and simple, showing the community what ArmA is capable of in terms of units, i only used Air Units though, but its still interesting to see what it can hold, and Air 2 Air Combat

Yes, I know that (although, strangely enough they also use radio in ftp://www.armedassault.info/armad/videos/spoock_ArmA_Sahrani.wmv when the two are literally walking next to each other). But this has nothing to do with the fact that I think the radio dialog could've been done better

I too have noticed this, i set a blackhawk to fly off in the distance for a MP mission im making. Guess what happend half way though during a car journey, it was flying along beside me and bang it hit a mountain.......

Today me (LiTTLe GaNgSTa) and my clan mate iLL was casually driving around in the zodiac boats in ArmA.
When I got out of my boat to get into iLL's boat I turned around to see my boat heading off out at sea. Well, it appears boats can drive them selves... even in reverse
We ended up having a pursuit with an empty boat.

The boats was miles out from shore.. we was luckly it went in the direction it went in.. if we didn't ram it we would have had to have waited before it ran out of fuel.. which would have been the same time as ours lol.

There are little fences between those trees, and instead of making you wlak around them they made a steep roadway lod to simulate 'climbing' over the fence

The wheelie happens when the poor physics engine in arma tries to compensate the weight of the bike when driving on objects like stones or other things you are not supposed to drive on.

A Trailer of my clan's Cops! Video. If you have ever seen Cops then you'll get it. We did it basiclly just for a laugh and hope to make more episodes in the future

I found this bug on ArmA while playing around in mission editor. When you shoot an APC on the back of the track with a short burst of a rifle, it gets destroyed and the crew of the vehicle flees.
No modified files, mods or any additional addons were used. Only vanilla Armed Assault.

That's pretty good, but the camera should have been more smoother in my opinion. I think there's an addon or something for that so you can move the camera around freely with your mouse. The music isn't really my favorite either... but it's a good video for your first.

You need to mess around with the model.cfg file, you should probabley download the sample model pack, there's a cfg file in there you can base it on

Well guys, I've had this movie in the making for ages. Probably since the beginning of this year, but never got around to finishing it. It's the ArmA movie I've always wanted to make. It's very different to all my other movies, hopefully in a good way.
It tells the story of Pvt.Wilson in the US Army. Having apparently survived an offensive by the SLA on Bagango in N.Sahrani, he takes a walk to calm himself. The carnage is everywhere. Eventually, a search team comes to check for survivors at Bagango via Blackhawk, and Pvt.Wilson comes to a startling realization...

I made a new movie, this time to get some practice with Sony Vegas. It's called Retaliation. It's my first finished movie made using Vegas, so hopefully it also looks a lot better. Had to compress it with WMM, so some of the visual quality was lost, but the Vegas uncompressed version was 611mb. Ah well. Enjoy!

There is such a gigannormous amount of changes that I have to say that you should read the changelog to see everything that has been tweaked, added, augemented, removed or pimped out.
There's like, 3 pages of stuff that are tweaked or changed. It's a really crazy mod, it changes everything. Mostly, for the better. As well, judging from the pbo structure(I haven't asked Solus about this) it appears to be completely modular in that you can remove what you don't like. Just an assumption, haven't tried that yet. SLX is the one mod that should be downloaded and tried without question, it's been the focus ever since ARMAI hit the scene. hehe

Its using Mando bombs (bomb run) and also a night firefight with flares etc. Unfortunately it does capture one stock arma gun sound thats an issue currently with Chammy V2 & shouldn't exist (try to look past that for now its getting fixed).
Just wanted to show the jet engine sounds & explosions, plus flares being used in a fire firefight at night, and of course the Chammy Mod. Oh, and the fact this is the first video ive made for arma / the game it self as a test run for future videos.

@Grisha : looking at your video, I had various kind of thoughts
- from the "military point of view" , well I believe it's quite improbable to fly so high if the intend was to assault the compound, the flight must be tactical i.e. fly 2/3m in height. If the intend is to assault the compound the drop zone must not be in a flat area without much cover and in that case the team will have the snipers covering their asses.
- from the "spectator point of view" , as you are telling a story about guys risking their lives in a needed but dangerous task you must stay close of them, we must have a better, closer look at them while fighting. I believe that one of the best spot of the video is when we are looking to the guy flying on the side of the ll'bird. Don't show large panoramic view a long time, just by glimpse as the soldiers will have, use close-up showing the faces more than the backs.
