Tsunami Wave, Little Help Options

Hi guys, finally managed to play through the majoirty of the campaign (i even managed to pick up flying choppers ... well barley) and am onto the above mission...


Am wondering if you can give me a little help or tell me when this bloodbath is going to end...

After the firefight with the dudes from the south (lost a few guys there meself), i sped off towards the next objective in my humvee with 3 other dudes, while the rest marched there since the stryker got taken care of.

There i found there was quite a few more enemy troops then i had expected and then we ended up being counterattacked by a squadron of tanks.

My AT dude disabled one tank but we had to retreat, losing two dudes in the process. I sent my boys off into cover while i found meself a rocket launcher and went tank hunting.
I ended up disabling the 3 tanks and offing the crew members in a wonderful game of cat and mouse in and out of the bushes on the right flank of the fortress before the base.


The other squads didnt fair too good either, there dead were all over the place and i only ended up seeing a few of there guys advance into base (after that i dont know where they went).


So on we go, i halt the squad, snipe a few of the dudes in the forts up ahead and then go in and mop up. I bring the squad up and lose my sniper to a enemy unseen, never found the guy who did it!

We then start moving onto the next objective past smashed up american and enemy tanks, as well as a downed cobra.

I lose another guy during a small skirmish with some enemy troops to the SW of the city. Am now down to 4 men, myself included.

Am now north of the city, there are tank wrecks everywhere ... M1s and T72s. I also have to brew up a BMP and disable another T72 ... again then having to kill the crew members who all seem to be expert marksmen!

I take the next fort, the mission is now peeing me off ... i thought it was going to be over after i took the base where those first T72s counter attacked from!

My next point lays slap bang in the middle of a further 4 T72s..... so ive quit for the night.



Like did any of you have this much trouble ... having to disable 5 T72s and destroy a BMP and clear out countless enemy positions basically on your own?

Am guessing most of you have completed this mission, so is it in vain to hope there will be some tank support en route to help me out any time soon (it is like about an hour into the mission now (about 2 hours after you count all the reloads ).
Finally, since i now gather that i have to circle the entire city clearing away the enemy, am only to the NNE of it ... does anyone know other then these 4 tanks if there will be any more heavy resistance.

Actually i guess this will be my final question and not the pervious .... any ideas on how to take out 4 tanks all by your lonesome?

I used a team switch, and took Cobra and destroyed like 10 T72s, several shilka's and BMP's. Only after that was I able to finish the mission with the rest of my starting squad.
