I doubt carrying firearms or replicas in public without a very good reason is illegal in most places... here you just have to over it. Basically if you wrap it in a shemagh or some other piece of textile and throw it in your backpack, assuming the weapons, especially barrel isn't visible, you can carry it. Or, in the most extreme cases some people just don't care if you cycle through the town with an M4 on your back.

Nope, carrying is regarded as such here. If you are out with any sort of weapon or replica, regardless whether it is covered or not, and they find you, you'll be in trouble then.
They've always forbidden to wear knives and again am aiming at tighter laws for real firearms, too. The most silly part is that their justification for these laws is still a dirtbag called Robert Steinhäuser who murdered 17 people in 2002 with his private, legally owned guns. -------------------- |

Hopefully startin' UKARA registration process when my exams are over.
Dead set on an AK, ICS MP5 (SEAL) and as I'll be buying from zeroone a TM M3 Shorty thrown in, am tempted to go for MP5 first but probly cheaper going with an AK, taken to damn long to save up for various things before i've been able to get started -------------------- Never before in the history of man, was so much buggered up by so few.

How much did it cost? I have to buy one, but i am not in community of ASG.
I fought about best weapon ever (in my opinion), G36, best Commando version. Of course ESG, so how much it should cost? |

ASG? ESG?
Is that a normal CA M15A2 or one of the Sportline ones? In other words, is the receiver assembly aluminum or plastic (should be fairly easy to notice)? The gun itself is pretty good, got the M15A4 Tactical Carbine (Rifle with Carbine barrel) myself. 350 incl. postals, 4 mags, Aimpoint and one battery. Yes, it was used. SaS, if you want a G36C, the Jing Gong one has got very positive reviews (comparable to a Tokyo Marui one), and it only costs around 90 USD or so. -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!

Each to their own. I quite like the classic army AEGs with the release of the new HK33K I might of found something that suits me however STAR and VFC also have good offerings.

I'll be hopefully getting a CA MP5A2 Lighted forearm in the not so distant future in stead of an ICS one (thank you mark and several reviews)

CA used to have fairly random quality, to say at least, but seems that their quality control has improved a lot in the past few years. Haven't read about ICS recently - their AKs have received good reviews, though, and a Finnish shop replaced their CAs some years ago with ICS guns.

Fitted a 4x sight to the VN and considering a bipod for a laugh. I will try and get some pics next time I am down. And thanks for reminding me I can register with the UKARA now I am 18! Personally I'd say go get a Jing Gong one which has a lot of positive feedback to it's name and IIRC cheaper too.

It doesn't show me anything...?
Oh, and just a sidenote, fought is one form of fight. You mean thought, derived from think, or are AS guns really that few there? -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!

I just notice on AirSoftnews.eu a Chinasoft SCAR made by Boyi for under €100. I want to see what people think of it as it looks to be quite ok as Chinasoft goes it would save buying a CA, Star or VFC one...

Knowing you, I'd insert couple of Golfs there and tell Charlie et al to feck off, too...
Hmmmh, another SCAR... well, atleast no an M4 (of which few also appear on the site). Can't recall how good Boyi is quality wise, but then again if the externals are fine you can almost build a new AEG inside one without it costing too much. Personally I have mixed feelings about the SCAR. It's largely an M4 with a modified upper. The package is slim, high and dense - the AS version, too, weights a fair bit, at least the ones with metal body. A hefty package. The stock is nicely adjustable, but some have criticized its durability. The sights are OK, IIRC they equal to the usual sniper AR backups - diopter irons. -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!
