hi,
i am new to arma scripting and i wanted to know the script i can use to make a unit do pushups and pressups.

You'll be looking for the playmove or switchmove commands:

The final argument is an animation name, you can find a list here:
http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Armed_Assault:_Moves_List

For pushups:
CODE
unit playmove "AmovPercMstpSnonWnonDnon_exercisePushup"


For situps:
CODE
unit playmove "AmovPercMstpSnonWnonDnon_exercisekneeBendA"


(obviously, replace "unit" with the name of the unit you want to play the animation! Bear in mind this code will not work if used in the initialization field of a unit, it must be activated by a trigger)
