Woot. That VPMediaUser's skin is very nice, need to check if I have it.
Here's my personal skin for Bf-109s. And here's a very nice (I know I shouldn't brag with my work, but...) pic from LOMAC. Used it as my wallpaper for some time, too... More Eagles! -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!

OK, I reinstalled IL2 and have got a pretty good idea about how to skin (found some tuts too) but I noticed that there are several skins in each aircraft's paintscheems folder from vanilla il2 - how do you access them in game??

What do you mean? Access in game? Full mission builder or Quick mission builder, ath the loadout customisation screen.
Or what the hell do you mean? As Il2skins.com isn't yet available, www.flying-legends.net is a good place to download templates. For Bf-109, I myself prefer Foo.Bar's template. -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!

The game is as far as I know around $40, but I thought it was too expensive, so with a know-a-guy-in-a-gamestore discount and a bit of haggling I got it for around $20. i will have a look around i think... modern day dungeon siege -------------------- -------------------- Heed my words or risk being beaten with a stick then fed to my associate D@V£ The Rules - Most places have rules, these are ours Read them! Nice thread... hmmm wonder if I've ever posted on it lol.
Various pics from LOMAC. Fooling around. Part 2. And 2 wallpaper-sized Hornet pics. Soz about the sharpness/over-blurryness in some places, but had neither AA or AF on when taking these. -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!

I'm gonna get the IL2 Complete edition rather than the 1946 I think. Far too fictional for my liking.

If most buy '46 (as it usually happens) you'll need it too. The different versions aren't compatible, although I think there's a small trick to switch between versions, not sure though.
We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. -------------------- Hakkaa päälle Pohjan poika!
