I'm the only one?
Well, now it doesn't appear but yesterday if I wanted to enter to armedzone.tv a pupup appeared saying that I had to make two surveys (to places that has nothing to do with ArmA, I don't recall which were though) or I'll be permanently banned from the page. I had to put real data, if not I will, again, be permanently banned. Of course I can put whatever I want, but why the page needed that info or it's visitors? |

Is it possible to post non-combat films here from ArmA?
I've made a film with two lads, a car chase inspired by Bourne. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUIpnV-KhuM We were three and did it on the fly cause we had a thought of making a film, so we didn't have much time to plan lol Addons used: Custom sirens, skins and flashes. Enjoy! This post has been edited by Stuntman: Jun 30 2009, 12:10 |

Map: Avgani Iraq (made by Opteryx)
Mods: Warmod (ECS, EEH, GL3) I tried to display the actual conflict in Afghanistan. News of about a month ago: "With a contingent of max. 5,350 soldiers and policemen, Germany is one of the main contributors of troops to coalition operations in Afghanistan. Although German troops mainly operate in the comparatively quiet north of the country, the Bundeswehr has suffered a number of casualties during participation in the International Security Assistance Force peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan." link to the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8l5kBJNdwI |

@Grisha : looking at your video, I had various kind of thoughts
- from the "military point of view" , well I believe it's quite improbable to fly so high if the intend was to assault the compound, the flight must be tactical i.e. fly 2/3m in height. If the intend is to assault the compound the drop zone must not be in a flat area without much cover and in that case the team will have the snipers covering their asses. - from the "spectator point of view" , as you are telling a story about guys risking their lives in a needed but dangerous task you must stay close of them, we must have a better, closer look at them while fighting. I believe that one of the best spot of the video is when we are looking to the guy flying on the side of the ll'bird. Don't show large panoramic view a long time, just by glimpse as the soldiers will have, use close-up showing the faces more than the backs. -------------------- |
