I can't eject from the Osprey! Options

I was trying to eject today from an Osprey in a multiplayer game and I'd hit eject and hit enter the screen would go black for just a moment and then I'd remain in the aircraft. When it would land I could choose either eject or get out with the same result. It absolutely would not let me out of that aircraft. After flying around for a while I just got out of the game.

Why does that happen? What about that thing where my body is stuck running in one direction and my head can move around? I had the same error in Arma1. Is this really a new game or just a little bit more of the old one? I'm having alot of the same issues as Arma1. What gives?
