Hi sweatingbullets.gif name's Paulie (AtStWalker).
Burner and i we found a HUB, a ww2 ArmAd hub sweatingbullets.gif Operation WW2.
Operation WW2 will be an united group of ww2 minimods to simplify the production and release ww2 mods before ArmA2)

Our OFPEC tag and Public Key is http://www.ofpec.com/index.php?option=com_tags&task=showtag&tagname=WW2

ATM WW2 is focused on making the first minimod: "Festung" (about german ww2 fortifications).

Already we've ingame a Ringstand 58c "Tobruk" and a Panzermauer (w three variants: 3 meters, 9m, 18m)

A videoclip about the tobruk taken ingame:
Youtube (low quality): http://youtube.com/watch?v=6pqa7U-_HQs
Good quality (29,2mb): http://www.armamod.org/listing/addons_arma/clips/ww2/arma_tobruk.avi
I'm sorry about the ladder anim, i used the default one from ArmA weapons_owned.gif

Some WiPs from "Festung":

Tobruk and Panzermauer

The Hockerlinie

That's a gallery about our mod Operation ww2: http://www.armamod.org/forum/index.php?action=gallery;cat=3

ATM we need a skilled RVMAT artist to map this baby (a present made by Royal Blackwatch) cause i like to add this mortar to his custom tobruk) :naughty.gif

Nice work, would love to get involved in a ww2 mod, unfortunately I have no skills what so ever in that department, but would love to learn

Posted by: AtStWalker Feb 25 2008, 23:56

I finished the r58c "tobruk" and the 1st step of the panzermauer. I'm going to release the first part of "Festung" but, first, i'll make the website where to post all the previ|n|ews about this project (no panic, i'm a webmaker weapons_owned.gif )

The tobruk pit has an usable wooden door, a concreted roof and a basement. It work as LEGO®:

r58c/d f.M.g.:

r58c/d f.M.g. (interior view):

r58c/d Beob. (a covered tobruk used as observationpost):

r58c/d Beob. (interior view):

"Fort Apache" (a r58c/d Beob + two r58c/d f.M.g. + panzermauer 3m, 6m, 16m and 36m types AND four BI tents tongue.gif )

AT w00t.gif

And i like to broadcast a clip, about the tobruk, taken ingame:

Are those Wehrmacht troops updated from the Vilas' skins? I noticed the Y-Straps have been added to the uniform for more correctness naughty.gif .

Posted by: Bastian Feb 26 2008, 05:33

Yeah, those are new. The team leaders have correct hats now (M43 rather than Marine type) and lack the modern comm. system. The Germans have better looking helmets and equipment, and are actually very fun to play with in game.
These Festung pieces are coming together very nicely, I cannot wait to see more ingenuity!

Hi, i am working on a ww2 Liberator pistol. That's my first UVmapped weapon for ArmA thumbsup.gif
The FP-45 Liberator was a crude single-shot, smooth bore .45 calibre pistol manufactured for the US Army. The Liberator was designed to be scattered about occupied Europe to be used by Resistance groups as disposable assassination weapons or to enable resisters to kill an Axis soldier and then take his weapon. Maximum effective range was only about less than 8 m. In Europe only a handful were ever distributed. Only the Chinese and resistance forces in the Philippines received the Liberator in any significant quantity. Most Liberators were destroyed after the war.
