Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but i have a question that i'm dying to know if its possible or not. It all depends on if you have fallout3 and are aware of the terrain that can be generated in G.E.C.K [Garden of Eden Creation Kit] I think it would be really cool to see to post-apocalyptic world of FO3 in arma as a world. It would make the terminator addon look pretty cool and spawn a whole lot more 'survival' missions Please help!! Ant -------------------- "I thought I'd lived a simple life. But I've sinned too much"

Possible. Definitely. FO3 uses a different method for texturing the heightmap, and the cliffs probably wouldn't work too well in ArmA (being static objects)... you might have a slight bit of trouble of water too.
But yes, if you can export a heightmap in GECK then you can probably get it into ArmA. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

So as long as we edit the terrain in visitor, prior to playing, we can remove the water and make the surrounding edges of the playable area water, and smooth out the cliffs?
Thanks for that.....I might have a play about later! -------------------- "I thought I'd lived a simple life. But I've sinned too much"

Actually the surrounding edges shouldn't be too much of a problem. The water trouble will result from some of the water in FO3 being a static object. This is supported by ArmA... but... well...
It looks crap tbh. -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.
