Hello everyone...today i would like to know how exactly I would arm a civillian in mission editor... I know you would probobly have to enter something into the init line but I don't know the code...
In other matters I would like to know how to place items on certain floors in buildings...say for instance I would like to make a meeting going on in a room of a building between some officers or somthing but I can't do it because my units would either end up on the roof or floor... one last thing...In editor whenever I place an officer he stands there just fine...but whenever I place an ammo crate or car/truck near him he always runs over to it to rearm (I think seeing he crouches near the back of trucks) and then runs back to where he is suppost to be but is facing the wrong direction and allsorts of other things like this... For the officer issue, put this in the initalization field: CODE This setbehaviour "careless" To arm civilians use the addweapon and addmagazine commands in the initalization field, ie: CODE This addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; This addmagazine "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag"; This addweapon "M16A2" (Remember, add magazines, then weapons, or soldiers will start with unloaded weapons) You can find a full list of weapon and ammo classnames here here: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA:_Weapons Setting the height of an object can be done with the setpos command. The simplest way to set height is this: CODE This setpos [(getpos this select 0),(getpos this select 1),z] Where z is the height in meters.
