Fellow members of the ArmA community,

After four months of preparations and one successful 75 player test battle, we finally present to you:
Rolling Thunder, ArmA’s stand-alone, large scale tank versus tank PVP events.

Rolling Thunder covers various scenarios in which two adversely tank companies encounter each other on the battlefield.
The result: rumbling engines, explosions, metal on metal, fire and fuel in a way that you can almost feel and smell it!

Key features:

• Large scale, stand-alone, tank v.s tank PVP battles
• ACE supported
• Tactical and teamwork orientated
• Easy registration / participation (as a group or as an individual)
• For each single battle a different map, different sides and renewed player registrations
• Capture and Hold system
• Reconnaissance and other support units involved

Rolling Thunder #15 will feature a fictive Central Europe ground engagement taking place in 2008 involving USMC vs Russian ground forces. The map used will be Chernarus. No extra addons will be required besides ACE and ACRE.

Registrations opening: June 8th, 17:00 GMT
Battle date: June 22th
Muster Time: 18:00 GMT
Battle start: 19:00 GMT
End of event and debriefing: 21:00 GMT
