Hi!
I want to inform you about ArmA mod - ACSR 1938.
We are making mod from WWII period - Czecho-Slovak Army. The mod is progressing quickly, but we need 3d/2d artist and map-makers. In mod you can play as Czech or Slovak, maybe as Freikorps - German civil forces. In mod will be two campaigns - One real, One unreal.
Mod will be release in two versions - For OFP and for Armed Assault.

I really like the look of your bunkers. It\'s nice to see someone doing them as more than a concrete box. Bunker are a bit of an obsession of mine, I even have a book in Czech on Czech bunkers and defences even though I can\'t read it
Have you tried the bunker in ArmA yet? I stopped my work (Bazbo\'s Bunker) in OFP because the blast from a tank shell hitting the bunker would kill those inside. If you could PM or Email me to let me know if this is still a problem in ArmA I would really appreciate it.

The German Ordel Police cars had identical coating of dark green on the turret surface complete with the Ordnungspolizei emblem: eagle with wreath of the oak branches. In subsequent years of the war, the AC Mo.30 in service of German Order Police preserved identical camouflage coating on all the car surfaces.
At the beginning of war with Poland, the police regiments were subordinated to the Army Command. The 1 st and 2nd Police Regiments saw action within the "Eberhardt" group deployed nearby Poznan. As per the German sources, four or five ADGZ and AC Mo. 30 armoured cars were trabsferred to Gdaňsk, alloated in support of combat inuts. Only one specific piece of information was preserved about this particular mission, recording the engagement of Tatra armoured cars during Polish campaign. An armoured car Mo. 30 together with artillery supported the SS Heimwehr Danzing attacking Tczew with the intent to join the units attacking from the Eastern Prussia.

All the Mo.30 armoured cars in the Czechoslovak Army carried identical camouflage, i.e. in the sense of its form and distribution of distinct coloured spots on the armour plate surfaces of each car. Tge spots were formed of colour shades of light ochre, reddicsh brown and dull green, with the green considered to be the basic uńderlying colour. The inner surface of the combat compartment was painted a shade of ivory. The police registration numbers consisted of five Arabic numerals on blask plates of 340 x 140 mm, completed with 3 mm wide white circumference border.

I was woundering if the vehicles will have a suspension system like the standard vehicles do so you dont get that stiff effect while going over uneven terrain. Thats just one of those little detail that makes or breaks it for me. But those pictures look great keep up the good work.

I'm sure we can accept that the problem with the tracks is something we can ignore. I mean, no one really complained because the half-track tracks didn't move in Lib44 did they? It looks great, it's accurate, to be honest, if there's a small bug like that I could easily ignore it
Thank you petr.t.lbc, and yes I have ArmA and I know the tank tracks are a little buggy but from the screens I cannot tell if the tracks have a suspension. Like when you take the abrams off road some of the track wheels will compress upwards so the tread isnt the same shape the entire time. The reason I did as that question before was because the tanks I have that do not have a working suspension like the standard BIS tanks when you move onto a curb or any surface thats higher/lower than what you are on it like hops around and what not, Sigmas MAC semi truck is a perfect example, drive onto a curb at an angle and the rear tires come off the ground b/c the truck is so stiff that even the small 2-3 inch terrain increase lifts the entire trucks up. But anywho thanks for telling me, it's one of those tiny details that I look for and makes the addons all the better to play with .

Stolen Fortresses... Lo Mo.36 E for one heavy MG. during the year 1936 about 860 light pillboexes model 1936 were built in different areas. In 1937 the devenlopment of model 1937 began - these already were modern machine*gun posts with high reistance and combat value. By October 1938 about 9100 such pillboxes of type mo.37 were erected along the borders wit Germany, Austria and Hungary as well as in ithe interior.

These screens look great!. I love the World War Two era mods being made for ArmA although with the game being so new there really isnt alot being made that I've seen but between this mod and that King Tiger John is making (I know it's a tank that started out at the tail end of the war but its still so beasty) I am just going nuts waiting to get ahold of these and make some good old WW2 based missions. Heck I even got so impatient I re-installed my Operation Flashpoint and downloaded every WW2 addon and mod I could find. Just keep up the good work on this mod, it's better to make it kick ass than put out a bunch of unfinished or buggy versions in my opinon and once again I cannot wait to get ahold of this.

JdB is not insulting your work, he is just saying that the texture on the side of the house visibly repeats somewhat, but since it is WIP that texture can be changed a little
well, to get rid of that problem you should make about hmm 4 simple steps in Photoshop:
1) Select all the image
2) Copy the whole selection and select the canvas size, setting it to an higher size
3) Now select the Lasso tool, put the feather to 10px and dray a closed line where you want
4) Copy paste it in the same texture, and move it wherever you want, you'll not get those boring repetitions (A problem I faced sooo many times )

Well that looks better, but it could use a little more detail though. Still looks kinda low-detailed... or is it just your ArmA settings? You should turn the texture quality to high when taking pictures.

The uniform looks really good. Nice detail. I think the helmet is a little bit too shiny though...
Well clearly that .rvmat file doesn't fit on that helmet then. You should try editing it.
There's definitely something up with the helmet. It does look a tad shiny, but I'm not sure if that's it.
Also, shouldn't it have a rim? Right now the bottom of the helmet looks a bit odd as well...

Well my point was that you should define a separate .rvmat file for the helmet, instead of using the BIS one, so it wouldn't be too shiny, no matter what settings you have...

Polish its not czechoslovakian!!! You're thinking polish soldier by W39?? Polish helm have other top than czehoslovakian. Polish helm in September 1939 have bumpy top and my not as realy!!.That its wide difference in reflection... Czechoslovakia have separate armament industry, what export more weapon than USA or England !! Polish armament industry its based on import and licenc. For Czechoslovakia were Poland ENEMY!!

Hey, we are NOT using BIS .rvmat settings . the helmet isnt that shiny, thats beacus the light was set to maximum, I would take a picture to demonstrate it, but I am not at my home right now

What you haven problem with texture? Texture of metals its nearly black. This its ArmA, not OFP and metal have specular, when the Sun shining, metal gives reflection and wood?
Yes, it looks fine on the render, but (I guess it's the specular map) it looks a little bright and shiny ingame. Textures often need to be tweaked because they look different in 3d programs then ingame.

Is the pole made out of metal? If not I think it shines too much... Maybe the colors (especially red) could be more saturated, but it could also be ArmA's fault But its things like this "pole" that add to the atmosphere. Good work

I'm not sure. Agreed it should be varnished and not plain wood like that but the wood changes when it ages I think.

In the course of WWII herself KAR98 wood make out of elmtree, ash and beechveneer(resin make dark shade), Nazi experimente yet plastic, but germans army plastic no introduce. On KAr98 Im come have a look in Army historically institut in Prag. Weapon in my mod must be year 1938. You idea its as make model ship Titanic in year 1912 with rust fungus and two pieces.

Will this mod encompass the Slovakian troops' campaign in southern Poland in 1939? Later, will there be content featuring the thousands of Slovakian troops that fought on the Eastern Front against the Soviet Union? I've skimmed through most of the pages on this 13 page thread looking mainly at the posts with pictures. I hope these questions weren't asked previously.

I think you should make those MG34 drums take up two spaces within the inventory. It would be sort of silly for a machine gunner to be able to carry as many drums as a soldier with an MP40 could carry magazines.

What a gorgeous plane! I've commented before on how incredible it looked, it's great news to hear the model is finished. The MP38 has differences from the MP40, but nonetheless the model you have looks very good. There has been a great improvement in all of the weapons models, and the textures bring out more details (especially the Mauser variant, newer textures on the stock look much better). Keep up the great work gents!

Ok, this mod and it's members are taking up more of my moderating time than all of the other mod threads combined (being on par with the BHD thread, but they aren't making a mess of their own thread by constantly ignoring and yelling at moderators), and pretty much all other threads too, so here it goes:

TNHPS as pz kpfw 38(t). Camo 1940 - 1942 and camo 1943 - 1945
The detail really stands out with camouflage markings, especially this one with the 1943-45 scheme. Was this unavailable from the last version released into OFP?

Pz kpfw 38(t) 1943-1945 its too in OFP version from version 1.00. Im fix for ptach 1.9 beta texture. Model and texture for OFP its other as in ArmA. For ArmA its all new and better.

Great to see it in the OFP version! You can definitely tell the difference between models but regardless, the team has done a fine job!
it´s nice to see the progress of this mod..
especially the pzkpfw 38(t) since a few of them (48 i think) was bougt by sweden in the late 30´s and designated Stridsvagn m/37 (Tank model 37).
the swedish tanks though where armed only with 2 8mm machineguns.
edit: actually the tanks bought by sweden was the CKD AH-IV, wich if im correct is quite similar to the pzkpfw 38.
1 of the swedish tanks (+ one wreck) has been traded back to chech republik and the museum in Lesany.
none of them are in driving condition though, but 5 of the remaining tanks in sweden are and atleast one of them has been on display in Lesany in 2006.
so it will be exiting to test this mod

AH-IV its tankette, not tank. Light tank its m/41. And in Sweden its two wrecks AH-IV. In Lešany we haven just LT38/37 remodelled at LT vz.38 (visage rather LT-38 and deficiencies frame anten and have other exhaust and sundry )In Lešany its tank from czechoslovakian people's army. And today name its Czech republic not chech.
We can addonmakers and mapmakers, not testmans.
