CTI Arena: World conflict, registration starting now! Options

As some of you mentioned: OFP isnt dead! Easpecially the CTI community cant make the step to ArmA because it simply doesnt work. Now for all OFP-CTI playing ppl, here is something you might like!

World Conflict is an OFP tournament at CTI Arena. World Conflict is a new, fresh way of playing OFP CTI. It means serious, organised way of playing without any requirements like membership in a CTI squad, alot of free time, or even a commitment to play every week.

You would like to take part in scheduled CTI games with tactics and team play that exceed those seen nowdays in most public games? Simply register for the CTI Arena: World Conflict and join in the action that is expected to launch on February 4th and will go on for 3 months and 10 days. You join as an induvidual and are assigned one of three sides fighting it out on a large network of 15 inter-connected islands - the Live Map.

There are no requirements. You don`t need to be in a CTI clan or any OFP clan at all. You don`t need to have time to play every day or even every week. You don`t need to be a CTI regular and you don`t need to posses great OFP gaming skills. Anybody can contribute to their side and help it in its struggle to conquer islands on the live map and emerge the dominant side and make the tournament better in doing so.

After you join it is up to you to engage yourself with the tournment to the degree you find suitabable for you. Take part in each of your sides battles or just one in five, it is completley up to you. There is not even a prescribed set interval between games for the sides themselves. They can challange another side to battle after just a day has passed since the last one or after ten days have passed. Whichever the tournament participants on that side find the most suited to them.

The missions used are the BW@DVD missions using units from various mods with superior visuals than those of the original OFP as a way to make the tournament fresher in this regard as well.

Wow.. thats looks like a huge map.. tell me how many players in each side fight?

The map is huge yes. but the battles are played only on one of the islands. Unfortunately this map is only imaginary. Think in the lines of a game of Risk
The number of players will be determined by the amount of players available on the battle date. The maximum for the missions is 24 now, but may be increased if needed.
