Hello
I was browsing on google and searching some screens and i find one very precision addon for arma i thing its not relased yet but this should be relased for public :-) if it will not load so press a few times refresh.  http://modeler.by.ru/NSSN.jpg

The lighting looks too real for ArmA in my opinion... Also, the color of the shadow on the ground is lighter than anywhere else + there is some additional darker shadow under the car. Is it a fake?

Yeah it's fake.
The car should be a bit bigger and the shadow under the car is darker. This is not ArmA engine.

Look at the shadow of the soldier to work out the direction of sun. Compare it to the spectactular on the car, and where that would suggest the position of the sun to be.
Clearly a fake

Hi guys
it is an in game shot you know, model is made in 3DS MAX and textures were smoothed, it suppose that arma mat editor was also in use, the shadow is correct look at the trees, and on the edges there are no signs that its a fotomontage every pixel is as it suppose to be, i can tell because i am studying artistic graphic and we have lessons of fotomontage --------------------  |

Unfortunatly I stopped being a sucked when I got of of Nappies.

Observe how there appears to be a "second shadow" directly underneath the car that wouldn't appear in the ArmA engine. 2. Once again, look at the windscreen and the edges of the car. We can tell from the shadows the direction of the sun. The lighting on the car seems to suggest the sun is in a different position to the lighting on everything else. 3. Look at the reflections on the car. Nothing visible in the screen is being reflected. My conclusion: Nioce try, but keep working, maybe one day you'll get me fooled. In Texas we have a saying... or it might be Alabama, I don't know, but the thing is, we have a saying. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... you don't get fooled again. Also, you need to fix your sig before t'Moderators be seeing it!

you know it is only a fake it till someone makes it. I would like to see some chrome in ArmA.

Perhapse if Kegetys did for ArmA what he did for Ofp then Sigma modeled a chavy car into it then yes im sure it "could" happen XD
The thread does raise a god point tho that there arnt that many propper ArmA addons. Its all re-skins, conversions and tools. There are only 5 or 6 actual ArmA addons which is wierd seeing as were a full year into the games life. ArmA dieing or we just in the calm before the storm? ^^ cheers carver -------------------- |
