Hey, i was just wondering if any addon makers would take me on as there apprentice in add-on making. Or if you could give some advice on how you learnt how to make addons would be great and much appreciated.

Thank you.

Your first stop should be BRSSEB's site. It's aimed at OFP, but a lot of the basics carry over.

brsseb's site
(You don't need to concern yourself with the section on setting up O2, with the ArmA tools that's done automatically smile.gif )

The main differences between the engines are material files (for fancy HDR etc.) and model.cfg files (for fancy animations etc.). In most cases however, you can use a direct copy of the one of the model.cfg files from the default models.

BI's wiki also has a lot of good information on creating your own addons:

There's also a set of all ArmA's models complete with configs and model.cfg files floating around somewhere, that's pretty useful as well.

Hope this helps smile.gif
