Hey, i was just wondering if any addon makers would take me on as there apprentice in add-on making. Or if you could give some advice on how you learnt how to make addons would be great and much appreciated.
Thank you. |

Your first stop should be BRSSEB's site. It's aimed at OFP, but a lot of the basics carry over.
brsseb's site (You don't need to concern yourself with the section on setting up O2, with the ArmA tools that's done automatically ) The main differences between the engines are material files (for fancy HDR etc.) and model.cfg files (for fancy animations etc.). In most cases however, you can use a direct copy of the one of the model.cfg files from the default models. BI's wiki also has a lot of good information on creating your own addons: BIKI There's also a set of all ArmA's models complete with configs and model.cfg files floating around somewhere, that's pretty useful as well.
