Edit by JdB
You can leave all of your questions, problems, comments and suggestions regarding the entire site (so website and forums - moderation feedback, which has it's own thread) here. End of edit. Hej guys, I saw your site is based on the Joomla! CMS. Now I'm just curious where you got the 'comments' extension from, I kind of like it and would like to implement it on my own site. Kind Regards, Giel This post has been edited by JdB: Dec 23 2007, 01:34

http://www.joomlahacks.com/ has quite alot of modules/plugins. I'm pretty sure they got something concerning comments there.

Well, there's less than 10 addons released so far, so it's kinda pointless. Just search through the news.

Can we get a server status thing like on OFP.info on the main page? Why? We dont have a server yet Nice site , but don't know if it's only me but i can't find the download section ?? As Blackscorpion said, there's only been so many addons released so far. We're definatly going to have one, just wait a few months. In the mean time just use the news archive. -------------------- |

This topic is for posting mistakes made in newsposts, any other messages will be deleted!
At first nice website and Forum! I am a great fan of ofp.info, so I'm really missing one detail. Where is the side menu, where you can search for mods, missions, ... ? The mods and plugins get more and more and in the blog it will be difficult to find certain stuff (as the editor Addon for example), because it is not "tidy". Would be great if you would add this menu again. Ps.: English is not my mother tongue, so forgive me for making mistakes |

Ps.: English is not my mother tongue, so forgive me for making mistakes First of all welcome to the forums There is no need to apologize for not beeing an native english speaker, because most of the ppl around aren't native English/US/Aussies anyways Let me answer your question with a quote QUOTE The website is dedicated to Armed Assault PC game, the OFP sequel created by Bohemia Interactive Studio, just like OFP.info. The site is based on the Joomla CMS, and it has been created by the OFP.info team, in order to separate OFP and ARMA news. This site is supposed to be temporary while one of our team member is working on an greatly improved one, but it has the basic features and, yes, there's a working comment system! You just have to register on the right menu! The site is currently only in English but it might have other language sections, depending how long this temporary site will stay. (check out the bolted text) I'm pretty sure the new "real" ArmedAssault.info page will have a lovely search bar Edit : There is a search function available its at the top check it out -------------------- |

I have another suggestion.
I looked at your RSS feed and it would be great if you guys could modify the title / heading of it. At the moment it displays as "Joomla! powered Site, Joomla! site syndication". http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?opt...0&no_html=1 It would be much nicer if it would say "ArmedAssault.info". -------------------- |

just right click and go to settings, in it you are able to change the name
Edit: Only works if you embed it into firefox -------------------- |

I know, but it sucks for streams. We added it to the arma toolbar and the title is bad.

Hey gruftschreck, thanks for the kind words!
Yes at the moment you can only do a "global search", as Deadeye said, another version of the site is in construction and it will have the same features of ofp.info about searching (and maybe improved too). SniperAndy, I modified the title / heading of the RSS, I suppose it will be changed once another item will be added into it! Thanks for reporting it! -------------------- |

Since it bears the same topictitle I was going to use:
I suggest to NeMeSiS to doublecheck before you hit the button to post the newsitem on the site. Posting bmp images (waste of bandwidth and may not work for some people) when jpg is the accepted standard for example. Check thumbnail links to know that they actually link to the larger version of the same depiction, instead of switching them around like you did on the "Greek Armed Infantry Units" post, etc -------------------- |

whats the point in registering for the site if we still have to register for forums ? |

The site may be tempory, the forums are not, once we decide what to do we may bridge the site with the forums. We may not, however.
