Hello everybody!
Had a bit of spare time and had a bit of a play with the DPM texture i use on my Brit units and finally came up with something that looks a bit better, just wanted to get everyones opinion before i commit to it. The new texture is on the right of each image, at the moment it is a bit low quality but i reckon i can see to that, currently its only on bits of the units but like i said i want to see what everyone thinks before i commit. Brown needs a little thining out to about equal with the green, looking at the surplus stuff i've got.
Would say colours should be: Green in brown in about equal proportions, followed by the lighter biege(?) and black being about equally proportional. Layering of lighter colours as the base colours is obviously spot on with both schemes. Personal opinion is to find a middle ground between the two styles you've got there. If you weren't from the UK, I'd offer some ref pics of my shirt n trousers but to be honest any man and their dog who's got access to a surplus store selling issue S95 can see for their self. -------------------- Never before in the history of man, was so much buggered up by so few.

Cheers for the reply, yeah i personally thought there was too much brown in it, might try thining out the brown AND increasing the Green to see which looks better.

Hi, im not very used to the current BDP, but i always though that it had more green
than brown, and that one at the right (There >>---------> ) seems that have too much in my opinion; i preffer the one at the left, because the colours seem to have more equal brightness, lightning and gamma tones, and looks more used, the other looks as new or as if it had been put into water and hasn't get dry yet. So i vote for the one at the left, sorry. Let's C ya -------------------- |

As said they are fairly equal in proportions, was sorting out my airsoft kit for sunday so got some pics of my S95 stuff.
TA issue shirt, cookie if you get the regiment from the badge. Again, TA issue S95 combats. and for comparison: A pair of highlander S95 copies. The highlander trousers were just out the wash so colour is a bit exagerated. Trousers were also a little damp from not being hung up to dry yet. Hope these help in some way. -------------------- Never before in the history of man, was so much buggered up by so few.
