Hi gents,
I appreciate all the work made by Sarmat Studios, very nice addons indeed ! I would like if the author of the T34-85 (ttham) and the Team itself would share this addon with the Bwc Mod (Buh War Conflict 1966-1989). This because as well as the T-55, Cuban and Angolan forces deployed large amounts of T-34 tanks, during the first phase of the Cuban involvment (1975-76 Operation Carlota) but also during the following years. Many of them were also captured by SADF and turned back into service with UNITA, some examples are still visible nowadays in some military museums in South Africa. Please let me know if you want to see this beautiful tank into a modern war. Thanks in advance. |

Yes, your released WW2 soldiers are good. But just wonder whether you could try to improve the collar type, helmet of those Soviet troops. For helmet, usually there is no star on it. I'm not good at ARMA model but could offer some thing from OFP as a reference.
( This pic from I44 Eastern Front ) [ig]http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a266/OFPCAT/r3.jpg[/img] [mg]http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a266/OFPCAT/r4.jpg[/img] For officer cap, it could be in camo star and style... During WW2, many soviet soliders wore a raincape as a camo, especilly for those assault troops ride on tanks, is it possible to make such cape in ARMA? Wow, really fantastic russian baby ever saw here! Now your tiger could get some real target in game finally. Also noted you made some crews of red army.
Maybe could add ISU-122 in future and only need a little change on your current ISU-152 model using the IS-2 suspension and a 122M gun. It seems ISU-122 more often used as an anti-tank vehicle in the war while ISU-152 was a self-propelled gun to provide supporting fire for infantry. I got some pics from my OFP game as a reference. Hi, everybody!
Answering for questions listed in "news comments" - DShK will be added for "late" version of this SU-152. I mean tank which came to army from repairshop where some introdused for ISU equipment was installed. - German "beute panzer" textures are not planned. Becouse not a lot of this SPG was captured. - Interior is in preparation P.S. There's small mistake in news. Author's name is SofD, but NOT SoftD -------------------- Liberation Mod 1941-1945 for OFP

Great! Very impressive actually for all these new pics. For IS-2, it seems you improved the color of texture and made it very realistic and almost the same as real one I saw from other data of this tank. And it still in stage of O2?
By way, if could add some logo, marks or some historical things on your tanks, would be more nice. This post has been edited by OFPCAT: May 31 2009, 00:15 |
