QUOTE(OFPCAT @ May 31 2009, 03:12) *
Great! Very impressive actually for all these new pics. For IS-2, it seems you improved the color of texture and made it very realistic and almost the same as real one I saw from other data of this tank. And it still in stage of O2?
By way, if could add some logo, marks or some historical things on your tanks, would be more nice.

First of all - one correction. Model of Pak-40 is by LibMod member Zyklon. Textures are mine.
2nd. Yes, textures of JS-2 now in reworking stage. A lot of work is in the future, ofcourse.
3rd Logo will be added, i think. And also DShK commander's HMG.
May be also early verion of JS will be added - with another hull nouse.

We have also gray version of Pak-40 offcourse - for 42-early 43

There's a lot of good WWII teams. And it's really good.
My dream from OFP times is a wide cooperation between them. Becouse a lot of projects stayed unfinished sad.gif

About the PaK 40 - are you 100% happy with the size?

PaK'40 looks to be the right size to me. It looks slightly bigger than it is on the picture because the front shield-y bit is down.

Or maybe it's just from this angle, you know how a person sitting in front of a camera with his hands stretched forward will look like a person with uber-big hands smile.gif It's a 75mm gun, if i remember correctly, but the barrel seems slightly bigger. Or maybe not. Any chance that you could show it from a different angle? rolleyes.gif

Thanks! It's too bad that there's not a soldier nearby to compare with human size objects, but it looks great now!
How does it rotate sideways - the whole gun or just the barrel?

The height of this model is around 1200 mm, the lenght of the barrel with breech is 3500 mm.

The whole gun will rotate as in Liberation Mod for OFP.

Personally, Liberation was one of the few mods I really was looking forward to seeing more from in OFP days. I wanted desperately to see the addons expanded to cover 1944-1945, especially Operation Bagration. I'm glad you continue on with creating WWII-themed addons for Arma, especially the Russian additions. I'm looking forward to seeing more tanks and guns.

Perhaps you could also look into making various types of civilians or partisans? It wouldn't matter what faction they'd be, so long as we have something to give a distinct feel that only the Eastern Front had. Vast forests provided perfect cover for bands like that, they even had special German units tasked with covering the rear lines against such attacks and these were brutal confrontations.

Ofcource, for belorussian missions with such a lot of forestes you'll need partizans.

Hi,Smersh, any new addon could be for your russian armor ? Now they're really in desparate situation when confronting those poweful german panthers and tigers in game~! No anti-tank guns, no tanks, oh, those sub-machine gunners of Red Army really having a hard time now.
