Oh god... I escorted a resident to the hospital, now been at the hospital for 4 hours. Transport could be up to another 3 hours, and im supposed to be finishing in 2. Bear in mind its a 12 hour shift, been at work since 8 am this morning, and ive got to be up at 6 am, to do another 12 hour shift tommorow....

I've never experienced a nurse to accompany a resident to hospital here... They are always like "[blabla] what took you so long... [of course. The emergency service is just waiting for YOUR call, dear lady] he/she/it is in room XY [thank you for helping us pulling over him/her/it on the stretcher, bitch.] call us (!!) if you (?!) bring him/her/it back [of course, we have nothing more to do all day.]".. The highest of highs is if they give you the health insurance card and maaaaybe a care-transfer-report
