First batch of pictures from our tour to Hamburg...
Some sort of sunrise Two morons, one thought... Northern Germany basically has more wind engines than trees... The port... Again, the port... ...port... ... There she is: F-216 "Schleswig Holstein" The home port of the frigate is Wilhelmshaven. -------------------- |

Larbord view... Rolling Airframe Missile launcher with the ship's bell in front of it... 76mm main gun... Another view of the RAM launcher. The guy in front of me is a Petty Officer 2nd Class Ship Electronician. Maybe 20 out of the entire crew were in uniform, the rest of them was in plainclothes. Some rooms rather looked like a dorm... Hamburg is beautiful, even when the weather is bad. Entering the den... Basically the "workplace" of the guy with the tribal shirt... View into the bilge... Midships technical room, about 3 metres below the water level... -------------------- |

One of the driveshafts, lord over 26.000 horses each... The enlisted mess. Even that is nothing in comparison to the officers mess in which we weren't allowed to take photos. And yes, that guy is always looking somewhat dumb... Some of the devotionals... Some more devotionals...They're veeeeeery proud that a ship with the name of theirs fired the first shots of World War Two. Be good boys and you'll get more of these tomorrow... -------------------- |

Words were coming out of my fingertips faster than my thoughts could process them in my brains... My plead is for temporary insanity that was caused by permanent insanity of very, very twisted nerve cluster that's called brain matter, that's supposed to be grey but isn't, it's black and has a somewhat sarcastic and dark sense of humor, or lacks it totally. Who needs food? Bring more beer! I like to keep it structured, there's another one for food. Actually that's not the "normal" loadout (I wished it would), just preparing for a small festivity tomorrow. -------------------- |
