I'm not sure except via your graphics card tweak program, I know you can tweak the conf.ini though in the il2 folder.

 30 July, 1943. A Liberator of No 53 Squadron identifys U461, U462 and U504 heading West off the French Coast in the Bay Of Biscay.     Following there discovery an additional USAAF Liberator, two RAF Halifaxes, 1 RAF Sunderland, 1 RAAF Sunderland and 1 RAF Catalina were summoned to the scene. U461 suffered catastrophic damage from a depth charge released from the RAAF Sunderland which, with bizarre coincidance, was aircraft 'U' from No 461 Squadron. U462 and U504 were later dispatched by gunfire from five Royal Navy sloops guided by the RAF Catalina. The events of 30th July would call the end of Admiral Donitz group sailing tactics.

Battlefield2 : Project Reality
Quite good modification that offers a level of realism unique within the otherwise arcade-like Battlefield series. Also the scenarios are built upon real battles again.  Me likes.
