So... in case someone didn't notice yet, 3 bombs went off in Boston about 2 hours ago - 2 at the finish line of the Boston Marathon and 1 at the JFK Library. 2 reported killed so far with ~20-30 seriously injured, mostly leg amputations from what I gathered.

Yeah, saw it on the news. Bad times. Just out of interest I googled Iraq bombings to see if there'd been much there either. Oh, only 61 killed and at least 274 injured.

To be fair I think the world has become de-sensitized to the goings on of Africa and the Middle East to such an extent that it is to be expected that they blow themselves up every now and then. When it happens in a so called first world country then it's terrible...

A "false flag" operation is where entity 1 (country, group, agency etc) tries to make entity 2 look bad by making it look to the world like entity 2 did something terrible, like a terrorist attack, attacking another country etc while it really was entity 1 itself that carried out the attack. This can be used for many purposes, like giving a casus belli against the other entity, raising public support, getting the other party embargoed, getting a third party involved etc.

The JFK Library fire was the result of a technical malfunction.

The biggest flaw of all those so called false flag actions is that, purportedly, they're "so damn obvious". If they're so damn obvious why even stage them in the first place.

Well, back to the topic, I'm not sure that it was a false flag operation nor I'm involving US Goverment in the attacks, but I find it weird that they haven't found a perpetrator o a suspect yet, and the Yanks are fast and good at that short of thing, I mean finding suspects (but not necesary the actual culprit) and making FF Operations (I guess I don't have to give examples to this one, do I).

Of course, seeing the amount of killing sprees that the poor fellas had been having, it could be also a unstable man or woman (but, the former is most common, somehow).
