The Bush Wars Mod is a mod depicting the South African - Angolan Bushwar 1966 - 1989. We are a small team at the moment but have plenty of addons ready for Armed Assault. Hopefully will gain more members with interests in this war. Will also release an "Angola" island with acurate detail of towns and routes. Mod will also include the South African Special Forces Battalions - 32 Battalion, Reconnaissance Regiments (Special Forces - Recces), 44 Parachute Battalion (Parabats), SAAF as well as the Angolan units - PLAN, MPLA, UNITA, Cuban Regular army and ANC. Here are some O2 renders of completed models: Note these are in Beta stages as we wait for the release of the new tools. More Posts to follow of completed models. Will be releasing the full mod aproximately 3 months after the release of Armed Assault. For the full story and plenty more visit our website. BushWars Website -------------------- |

nice job. just a little question: you will change the soldiers later? and use the Arma body shape? Iīm just waiting for the ArmA models as OFP Soldiers are way out of date. I just used them to create my flight suits and helmets etc. But yes....just waiting for the promised base models and the new tools... So could the guys at BIS please hurry up we have MODS to complete. Looking very nice so far! Just a thought, if you have any trouble with the trees and general foliage, you might be able to contact Ebud. His Tonal redux ones are superb Iīve been speaking to Ebud, we might work on the "Angola" island as a joint project. We are all just waiting to lay our hands on ArmA so that we can see what is required....all just guessing at the moment. -------------------- |

I already liked the vehicles you showed us before, but that MPV is really, really nice This is a completely new MOD, you must be thinking about Bushfires Mod...they will be colaborating with us on this new mod, have been speaking to some of the original members specialy Ironsight and we might work together. they have donated some base models which I am updating to bring them inline with ArmA meshes and textures....will post more renders this week. -------------------- |

Oh yeah, I meant Bushfires mod. Your addons seem to be on the same quality level as their addons.

Heheheh the Buffel rules. Great job on that one.
How's it going with the Bosbok? My dad used to spot targets in one of 'em, so maybe I can get him to play ArmA (What exactly is the difference between the Bushfires mod and the Bush War mod? ) |

They are however helping out and even donated some base models. -------------------- |

General purpose transport I believe, but due to the high threat of mines the vehicles are elevated and designed to be survivable should one hit an AP or AT mine
