i guess the first mods to convert will be stuff like BW mod and certinly RHS, seeing how active they have been recently. We already know Inv44 are converting to ArmA, and alot of other mods (frenchpoint, CSLA etc..) im sure will follow.

Nah this is For Multi players mod ,no singleplayer like FFUR...cause you know....some mod are not made for Multi....................but do you think that some mod like Bas will be convert...cause their Makers are ''dead''

well im sure ArmA will bring back many of the makers, hopefully some old faces will emerge back in this forum too. BAS will probably begin again with a new team and a new name, but making the same somalia crises like units. even compared to newer ofp addons BAS was getting quite dated so its probably worth starting again rather than converting.

yep germany 85, based on the tom clancy novel. a cobined mod with BWmod, RHS, CSLA, Combat! and more (i think there all in it anyway)

I highly doubt that now. The crap we've been getting over the last year (alot longer, but we've grown tired of it during the last year combined with lack of time) combined with the whining and sarcasm after the last 2 interviews (OFP.info and ArmedAssaultCenter) has pretty much driven everyone into the "I don't care anymore" corner, and put what little time they did have into other things. Better to invest time you have into something that stands a chance of becoming a positive result.

By all accounts, the mod is dead. There will not be an "As is" release, as our teamleader did not want that.

Btw, if we had ever moved to ArmA, we wouldn't have converted Phase 1 entirely to ArmA, but just the pieces we could recycle for the other Phases.

On RHS: As said before by RHS, most likely only things that will fit into the G85 project will be put into ArmA (although it is an addongroup in which people are fairly free to do what they want, so you never know for sure).

Invasion 1944 was one of my favorite mods back then, and I really was looking forward to your new stuff.

I know it's late, even in the UK, but you've entirely missed this paragraph?

Release = Distributing what you've already done to the community

Realise = Understand what they have done (in this case, killing a great mod)

omg im really genuinly sad to hear this news. Inv 44 was my first mod i downloeded (the demo), and i was really looking forward to this.

There is a new mod called "Falcon Wing Studios" which has taken on from where the ADF mod left off, they have made an East Timor and they are working on a large mod that will have the Australian and Indonesian and Timorese soldiers and vehicles etc. It looks very promising at this stage, they are almost done. They'll be converting over when ArmA comes out.

It's not official though, just what alot of the (few remaining) members think. Someone may or may not get the (bad) idea of reviving the mod sooner or later (and to have it die again a few days later).

Most tutorials are so overly complicated, explaining all kind of scientific theories, when I just want to light/shade my model and apply details to it
