I checked that out, and sure enough. They stop very quickly and change to the death animation. Doesn't look too bad.. but still.

I would have thought they would have used it as like a 'tech-showoff' thing, eg: the ability to change flightmodes in game like heli-mode to plane etc, and therefore showing the mod community that aircraft like the C22 Osprey and VTOL aircraft like harriers are possible... but apparently not..  *getting a bit OT, sry* |

You're right. Why AV-8 then? A-10 would have been a better decision. It does carry more weapons, more armor and got better ground attack capabilities!

The flip side of the coin is that you get exactly the same vehicles as in OFP. I'm glad they chose the Harrier, because there wasn't a really good one out for OFP yet. And if it's true that there will be a patch for VTOL capabilities, it will be even better
