Everybody whos ever been a squad leader knows the little "call for support" commands, right? Well, has anyone actually gotten support? Like, for example, I like to play around in the mission maker, and I put some ammo trucks in the map, but when I request them I get "Negative.", how do I get them to respond and come to my position? Do I need to be low on ammo or what? helpsos.gif

Feel free to put one of these ( FAQ.gif ) if the FAQ can help me with this.

You just need to be in a mission where support units have been set up. Most missions haven't got support units set up, despite the fact this can be done in under 30 seconds, because most mission makers are really lazy.

...damn them!

I think that if you use the support vehicles, and then give them a "support waypoint" they will wait at that waypoint until you do request them

You just place any support unit or vehicle (medic 4example) and give him only one waypoint "Support". Then he'll come when you call for him.

And don't forget to send "Ready" command after getting support, or he won't be available again.
