I feel sorry for the likes of Larry Page and Mark Zuckerberg. As of today owning a well known online website no longer exempts you from rape prosecution and sexual molestation. Damn

'Tis apocalpyse coming for sure. And when dead Koala bears fall from the trees, this might be even about the Eucalypse.

If one hits a tourist on the way down we can revive the myth of the Dropbears. Or is it a myth?

This should prove interesting ...

The Dutch ISAF contingent was withdrawn from Uruzgan, southern Afghanistan last summer, and is now relatively peaceful. Now the Dutch government is going to submit a request to parliament tomorrow for the deployment of a taskforce of around 350 to Kunduz in the north, which has become one of the main areas for Taliban resistance. If this mission goes through, it will again be given a wonderful description. The last deployment was called a "reconstruction mission", and there certainly was a lot of renovation going on in the province ("500lb JDAM, tears old crap down faster than a hamer" naughty.gif ). This time it would be well known that it is a warzone, so they've decided to go with "training mission". Somewhere in between blowing stuff up, we will give some ANA soldiers a crash-course on how to use their entrenching tool (probably they will be ill-equipped, so you may substitute "entrenching tool" with "bare hands") to dig a proper foxhole before the shooting resumes.

350, 50 of those will be trainers. The rest will be "guarding" the trainers. This will hopefully mean 60 SF and 240 marines and airborne personnel to train the local hadjis to die, but more likely due to the requirement for political correctness they will be medical personnel, teachers and carpenters that barely have a clue on how to defend themselves, let alone the people that are supposed to be training the ANA and ANP, but who will probably end up having to protect the "guard force". The DoD ran out of this year's money about a year ago, so we are going to leech off of the Germans to pay for, and provide us with everything. "Partners after all", and they don't like their armed forces, so I'm sure they would rather outsource it to us naughty.gif

The real battlefield is going to be parliament itself, since the minority government consists of 2 parties, and is condoned in certain matters by Geert Wilder's PVV, and he's completely opposed to the mission. The other parties consist of the party that made the previous government collapse over the previous mission (so opposed to it), socialists, greens and vegetarians (I will assume no further explanation is needed), and some conservative Cristian parties that are opposed to any form of violence. The two parties hold (IIRC) 55 out of 150 seats, so the mission is /FAIL from the very beginning. I bet the only reason why they are submitting it (and taking the embarrassment of getting it thrown back into their faces by the rest of parliament for granted) is so they can say to their NATO friends that "at least we tried".

Kind of ironic. Wilders is constantly saying that the armed forces budget should be slashed down to tiny proportions, almost to the point of having no armed forces left, only good for distributing sand bags, blankets and soup in case of a flood, but every time there are problems with groups of immigrant troublemakers terrorizing entire neighborhoods, he proposes to send in the army or marines in force to restore order. He has even suggested letting the marines patrol major cities. "You and what army"? tiredsmiley.gif

We managed to slip in the first infantry, not engineer led, 'mentoring task force' once you left.

Yes. Reconstruction. blues.gif

Plus we are finally building two amphibious ships similar to USN LHD's and are training often with the USMC to pick up some expertise. Funnily enough we bought ex USMC M1 Abram's, are training crews in the United States in conjunction with US infantry in how to best use the Abrams in combined arms operations and we share a similar vehicle to the USMC in the ASLAV to their LAV25. And we have begun the process of allowing the stationing of US forces within our own military bases for further joint exercises. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-a...x-1225948576258
Ostensibly it's for humanitarian relief, RAN and army interoperability and a little power projection into the Pacific. Going to be an interesting decade in my neck of the woods.

The RAN is also said to be watching the development of the VTOL JSF. Just in case...

Dad murders three teenage daughters raped by Gaddafi thugs

THREE young sisters raped in Libya were murdered by their own dad for bringing “shame” on the family, horrified human rights campaigners claimed last night.

The girls, aged 15, 17 and 18, had been attacked by Colonel Gaddafi’s marauding troops at a school in Tomina during a two-month siege on the nearby town of Misrata.

Their twisted dad slit their throats in an honour killing, according to the US-based group Physicians for Human Rights.

Welcome to the religion of peace, aka Islam.

Just another day in the world's largest open-air funny farm really. There's a reason why they all hate Israel, it's because the Israelis display signs of sanity, or at least on average more than everyone else in the region, just like the catholic church liked burning people (especially women) who didn't blindly follow what some archaic book, revised over and over again by a thousand and one idiots making a bid for power, told them to do.

Religion is the worlds most volatile weapon in a wannabe-politicians arsenal. People following an ancient version of Harry f*cking Potter, led by geriatric fossils who's only real joy in life is getting drunk from mass wine, then chasing after the alter boys. So all hail our Lord and Saviour Harry Potter. That would make Hermione the virgin Mary. Not that she'd be a real virgin obviously, Mary and Josef were married, so you can bet your ass that she stopped being a virgin long before some arch angel stopped by to pump her full of ... faith. And if J.K. Rowling had written the first Harry Potter manuscripts as poorly with as many inconsistencies, incoherency, gibberish and plainly retarded stuff in it as the bible with a non-existent writing "style", every single publisher would have flung here out of his office with a catapult. Good wine gets better with age, religions, and especially the books, only get worse over time. Assuming for a minute that God actually exists, I wouldn't find it at all surprising if Jesus were to storm in at Christmas mass at St Peter's square ranting about wth they had done to his message of peace and understanding, and then condemning the whole lot of them to hell where they would be getting chased by something that is long, hard and heated to 1000 degrees Celsius for all eternity. I'd like to see the looks on the faces of those geriatric leeching paedophiles when they find out he actually does exist.

Madness.
QUOTE
A radio station run by Somalia's al-Shabab Islamist group has awarded weapons to children who won a Koran-reciting and general knowledge contest.

Andulus radio, based near Mogadishu, gave the group which won first prize in the Ramadan competition an AK-47 rifle and the equivalent of $700 (£450).

The second prize-winners received an AK-47 and $500, while the third prize was two hand grenades and $400.
Sometimes I think the world were better off if we nuked everything below the 30th degree of latitude.

Where is Bomber Harris when you need him?

Seriously though, to let these failed states start from the scratch again might be the best thing we could do. Let's go Carthago all over the place and stop wasting the lives of our sons and daughters while trying to bring them a form of peace they not seem to desire.

As you are probably all aware the media have been full of outrage, adding to public outcry over the desecration of British and Commonwealth war graves in Libya, making the outcry over the burning of a few hatred filled books seem irrelevant. Embassies have been firebombed and ransacked, riots are still ongoing, silly threat videos posted online, whole prime time television slots filled with shallow anti-war vilification ... oh wait, that didn't happen, in fact it hasn't even been reported on the news here nor in most of Europe, not even briefly ... unsure.gif

That would mean too much free publicity for the BNP, Wilders and any other party that dares to speak up against these infiltrators and polluters of our society and their leftist henchmen, and the tree-hugging hippies in charge of all of the media outlets can't have that now can they.

Guess it's ok if everyone's favorite cuddly toy, little Mueslis do it, as long as those facist infidel american capitalist pigs aren't somehow to blame for it ... unsure.gif

Of course most of those billionaire owners of said news outlets are in no way facist infidel american capitalist pigs themselves tiredsmiley.gif
