Niceeee...
You should make a way to exit the trench, but not like an "invisible ramp" which is in some BIS' objects and it's pretty annoying (yo can't stay near the wall). And yes, pleaseeee make them useful to the AI, or do want you can, i think that i'm asking too much. |

webbings almost done still needs some tweaking here and there but it's basicly done, next step is to put everything back on the model in the most correct way possible... any links to referance pictures of german soliders would be welcome. @Linker Split are you familiar with the foxholes from I44 for ofp? they had a getin command, could it be possible to add such parts to the trenches... maybe not for the entire trench since its no fun if you can's run from one end to the other, but a MG possition or covered sniper hole or something would perhaps be something to think about... -------------------- |

Why did you model the straps on the smock when you could have done them with normal maps? Otherwise it looks pretty promising.

any links to referance pictures of german soliders would be welcome. Make sure you look through the galleries of re-enactor events if you haven't already. A good one to start with would be the War and Peace show gallery - plenty of authentically dressed Germans there |

@Da Rat
thanks didn't think about that one much better pics @Rellikki because normal maps can only fool your eyes to think its 3d where this is in 3d looks much better and I'm trying my best to make the details as low poly'ed as I can -------------------- |

Looking good so far, my only concern is the stretched textures on the side of the German Helmet though... it looks a bit... unnatural....

Yeah The textures are a placeholder at the minute. it's still being modelled so if i worked on a texture there's a chance some parts could change. if this was to happen it would mean changing the texture again. i'd rather work in one go to be honest thanks for the feedback though D@VE -------------------- WW2 Fanatic. |

About maps, where will i be?
Yes, i imagine Normandy, but you will make only Omaha Beach? Would be a single map (this would be awesome)? Not about your mod, but do you know when the SLX will be released? |

Not about your mod, but do you know when the SLX will be released? I dont think we will be doing Omaha seeing as it wasn't in the series to start of with, but if we find a modeller who wont's to do it then sure. We will be doing the like farm land in Normandy and a few villages. I myself can't tell you when SLX will be released. Kris -------------------- |

Not about your mod, but do you know when the SLX will be released? Indeed we have a map in early stages of building. it covers the coast line from Utah to omaha including the pointe du hoc. and inland covering Ste mare eglise,Vierville,brecourt manor,carentan and St Lo. Here a little concept we have. hope that answers you question As for SLX. it comes to the to age response of: When it's done it's just having the bugs ironed out and tested. Looking very nice mate, impressive, I look forward to seeing more progress and more news from you in the future. Thanks For your support we're working hard at the minute and hopefully you'll see that on our next batch of screens -------------------- WW2 Fanatic. |

Small map, isn't it? If i'm right that would be 21x24km (aprox.)?
I have to ask this, sorry, but it will be an "island" (the limits of the maps are a big cliff to the ocean) or are you going to copy the metod of Opteryx, which makes an infinite desert in the outskirts of Sakakah? @Kris Yes, i forgot that Omaha wasn't in BoB, but if i think in any movie/game/series of WWII, Spielberg's Omaha Beach it's the first mental image i have. Sorry if i make too many questions, but this is a very ambitious proyect and like every ambitious thing the results could be great... or horrible. No offence, but OFP Mods teach me that. |

@Benoist
I'm pretty sure that I speak for all the members when I say ask away your couriosity keeps us going... can't tell you much about the island, don't think we know much yet, but the infinite desert style might be something to think about -------------------- |
