Don't know if I am in the right area or not, so please excuse me. I notice that there are several Add-on Launchers for Arma II. My questions are: 1) are these add-on launchers worth to install and easy to use (understand)? 2) will these add on the Add-on's and mods, or just Add-on's, or just the Mods? 3) What's the difference between the Addon Sync, Alpines Arma II Launcher and the Linebacker Arma II Launcher? 4) would you all perfer to install the Add-ons and Mods by the Modfolder method by Armaholic or the Launchers? Just wondering if there was an easy, fast and safe way to install Add-ons and Mods.
Your opinons and expertise would help. Thanks |

One of the better ArmA.2 launchers is the DOW Launchpad (link), it's easy enough to use and doesn't put you through a load of sh*t like some other launchers. It can also be used to launch ArmA.1 and OFP. Only downside is that it can't launch the beta patch.
If you install addons in a modfolder, then they can be launched using these launchers, there's a guide for setting up mod folders here (written for ArmA.1, but it's exactly the same for OFP and ArmA.2). Almost every mod will use the mod folder structure, so you shouldn't need to worry about not being able to launch stuff with a launcher. (AFAIK, there were only a handful for OFP that couldn't be launched using this method and none for ArmA that couldn't, so it's a safe bet pretty much every mod will be compatible with the launcher) -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.
