I keep getting notified on topics via MSN that I have totally no interest in and definitely not subscibed to, some are even first post questions.
Is this common for this site or has my membership been hijacked again as it was years ago? -------------------- |

Rather unusual I would say...have you tried un-subscribing?

I meant un-subscribing to all.
I had a look in the admin panel for the forums and there is no option or reference to you being subscribed to anything here at all. -------------------- |

Now I just recieved this notification
It is a brand new post/topic again. How could I subscribe to it if it was only just posted ? QUOTE Forum Subscription New Topic Notification ( Armed Assault Info Forums ) From: Armed Assault Info Forums (noreply@armedassault.info) Sent: Monday, 19 October 2009 3:43:24 PM To: compulsory_heroes@hotmail.com CSJ, triggerpuller101 has just posted a new topic entitled "How to get HIFI Novus Aevum sound to work with ACE?!" in forum "Mods". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok can someone please tell me how to get HIFI to work with ACE?! So here's the story. I downloaded HIFI novus Aevum, and installed it into the arma directory (it is an exe file). Then I right clicked on the ACEmod shortcut and went to properties. An in the location bar, next to C:/programs/bohemia interactive ,etc., I typed in: "/* ACE_OVERRIDE_BIS_SOUNDS'' which is supposed to disable BIS sounds and allow HIFI novus aevum to work. Although I don't hear any sound differences from ACE to HIFI Novus Aevum. My assumption is that I messed up somewhere in the process. Did I do something wrong? Can you tell me how I am supposed to install this mod the correct way? Thanks. -------------------- |

Could have accidentally subscribed to the whole forum rather than just the thread? Check My controls>subscriptions>forums.
Otherwise try jigging around with the settings in My Controls>Options>Email Settings to disable email notification. S'all I can think of I'm afraid -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Whatever has been activated cannot be disabled on my end I am afraid, subscriptions are a personal account setting. Save destroying your account then re-registering your name with your current email I am afraid there is nothing I can do.
I would suggest, as D@VE said, checking your email options or else cancelling the subscription to the Unsung thread to see if it rectifies the issue. -------------------- |
