hello!
I have recently bought a new computer and am having problems with arma, problems that i never had on my old computer, the problem that i am facing is when i launch the game the screen goes black, then it turns to a lighter shade of black with my cursor... it will remain like this for a few minutes and then the menu will appear, but the menu background is grey and all of the buttons/icons are black squares, I have reinstalled the game many times using different setting but it doesnt seem to make a difference, is there any way i can fix this? my system specs are as follows:

intel core i7-950 3.06GHz
nvidia GTX460
6GB DDR3 RAM
Win7 home premium 64-bit

please help!

Hey buddy

Nvidia gfx card users have experienced a shed load of problems with the game. Try this thread here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=76908&highlight=NvideA on the BI Forums. That might give you a starting point. Also a search for your GTX460 card issues on the same forum might turn up a solution!
hope that goes some way to help, merry Christmas thumbsup.gif

alright, im downloading the latest drivers for my card as we speak, as well as patching it to 1.18, i heard that it would somewhat help... before reading this i had a bit of success, if i run it in compatibility mode, it runs a little smoother... in the main menu the backgrounds are now exsistent, but the models are very chunky and there are no textures... but, we will see what happens with the updates im installing...

thanks alot!
