I been around since the early days of OFP and since then it seems that ADF themed mods either never get completed or never make any decent releases which is really sad. The AAW mod has had 1 really good release so far and I hope it keeps going until it has provided the community with the full range of Aussie goodies.

Looks awesome, but with so many hi polly models ingame isnt there going to be a major issue with it using alot of system resources?

They aren't to be used in game, they are used for Baking normal maps on to a low poly model. The normal map will pick up the reflective values of the hi poly model and then apply them to the low poly model giving the impression of geometry where there is none. There are several ways ways of making normal maps but this form of normal mapping will receive the best results.
Look at Cambos Hi-Poly Mat49 and the lo-poly version which has the hi poly model baked on to it -------------------- |

why not using the high poly model in the View pilot LOD? so:
1) it will only be loaded when player uses the weapon 2) you'll not waste that beautiful work, using it only to make Normal maps -------------------- Visit my blog about Poker at Blogspot.com

I wish mate but they are way to hi poly to even get in game. Both the vehicles are way above the hundred of thousands poly mark ... thats gonna cause some serious lag
