As we have been seeing a lot of breaches regarding the following rule, we will not be so lenient towards violations of this rule. We often used to look the other way when people repeatedly broke this rule, but for the time being, we will follow this rule to the letter, with a written warning being given on the first offense, a post restriction (PR) being given on the second violation, and a PR + warning block (WB) on all further violations. We hope that this will get the message across.

QUOTE
§12) No images are to be posted in the English section that exceed 150kb's filesize.

You may be post restricted after your first warning for failure to comply with this rule.

We have also adopted a new rule to prevent the 150kb limit being broken by a workaround:

QUOTE
§13) Images may not be made up of more than 1 file

This rule is meant to ensure that §12 is useful in keeping the forum easy to access for all people regardless of their hardware. An image must be made of a single, continuous file. When more than one file is used, we will take action against the poster.

We have also been noticing that a number of people have single elements in their signature that exceed 100 pixels in height (mainly text). Using quote tags is also not allowed, since it makes the text alot larger. Instead you should "quote text like so". We will keep a close eye on people's signatures.

If you see a violation of either of these rules, please do not respond in the thread itself, as it will be deemed spam, but use the "Report" function instead smile.gif
