Armed Assault Info Forums _ Operation Flashpoint _ Good old fashioned OFP Game-Night?

Hey,

what about a good old fashioned OFP night ? Maybe a nice CTI...or are there any new maps/modes released?

We'd only have to find a server (or hamachi ?) and a day + Needed addons etc. ? Any ideas?

Let's revive the old lady !

I've always had trouble with OFP MP (PC rebooting after a random amount of time), has never happened with another game, it it had, I would have suspected the router overheating. Never been able to track down what caused it. One time I could play a 4 hour mission, on another occasion, it rebooted after 5 minutes.

I'd prefer as little addons as possible to keep it playable (addons are generally more detailed than regular BIS stuff and less optimized).

Sounds good, may be worth looking into Tungle same idea as hamachi but seems to work alot better than recent hamachi versions I've used.
Mod wise I'm game for some FDF or Jungle Fever or if I can find where I have the mod folder some BAS missions?

I might be in too. Incidentally, I brought OFP CDs (or was it on DVD? from my old flat just last week. And my vote is for some coop BAS missions.

sounds good, ill be there...
the only problem is a date and a time, im in australia so if you guys decide to play on a GMT based time, then im about screwed...
i think that it would be a pain in the arse to try to round up all the addons that we may want to play, so im thinking that we use OFP GOTY vanilla patched to 1.96... that way everyones happy... but dont let me stand in your way, if you want addons, use addons, that was just a suggestion...
