hello all...

i am busy creating some multipurpose usertools, which should serve the arma gamer with more clarity on what's needed to play arma ( with or without mods ) and where to find servers.

First of all, i created an URL protocal, which enables joining a server just thru a special crafted ArmA:// link.
this can be used on your website, and is currently used in the ArmA toolbar from armamods.
Version 0.3 supports Passworded servers.

future versions will include 'addon version checking' and providing info on missin addons ( ArmA:Addon )
so much for arma start: more info here.

Arma:Start
http://www.abe.armamods.net/armastart.php

ArmA:Graph
My other tool is ArmA:Graph, where i try to get numbers from the active servers, players, versions, mods etcetera, etcetera.... Although its still under construction, a you can take a peek at the 'testing' area
http://abe.armamods.net/test/armagraph.php

Arma:List
Again, a tool in development, which shows you a list of active servers.
Ultimatly, the list can be used for your own used through a XML feed.
http://abe.armamods.net/test/index.php

Other developments, in alpha stage:
ArmA:Control
An Linux/Windows servermanager. using an php Admin backend that can connect to the servermanager via sockets.

ArmA:Missions
During the harvesting of data from gamespy and gameservers, many information on used missions is gathered. a Monthly top 40 missions could be autogenerated. also information on the depenancies on those missions are recorded, and this information will be available thru the combination of ArmA:Missions, ArmA:Addons and Arma:Mods

ArmA:Addons
Same as above, only for Addons...

ArmA:Mods
Same as above, only for Mods...

Arma:Buddylist, Arma:Squad
A buddylist system for Squads and the general ArmA player.
a webbased system that tracks your buddies on where they play, when they are last seen etc etc.

All this information, should eventually be available in custom xml feeds, for use on websites, in tools and more...

Any suggestions/help is welcome...
