The Royal Green Jackets Armed Assault Unit
Either conquer or die Who and what are we? Who and what are the Royal Green Jackets, the Royal Green Jackets Armed Assault Unit is a Role-Play Unit, when we engage in Operations or Training we do them if it were real Operations or Trainings, however we do have a laugh when we are playing. We are a laid back unit but when in game we take the game serious, and we expect all members to do the same. When in game everybody has their own roles, so a Tanker is in charge of Tanks or Artillery, a Pilot flies either the Helicopter or provides Fixed Wing air support, and the Infantry take care of the ground fighting’s, however everything is connected with each other, the sections have their own FAC (Forward Air Controller) who can call in Air Strikes or CAS (Close Air Support).  Our Enlistment process and what follows… You start in the RGJ as soon as you have filled in the Enlistment application, and have read our rules. You start of as a Recruit in the Royal Green Jackets, as a recruit you have to do the RGJ’s Basic Training. Basic Training consists of 3 Phases Phase 1: Introduction to the Royal Green Jackets ArmA unit, Basic Formations, Obstacle Course and Weapon Handling. Phase 2: Infantry Tactics, Advanced Weapon Handling, Room Clearing Phase 3: Life Fire Exercise Each part will take up about 30 to 45 minutes and will be done by the Royal Green Jackets ArmA unit’s own Training Staff helped out by other members of the unit. Once you have completed the Basic Training course successfully you will be given the rank of Rifleman. You are now a official part of the Royal Green Jackets Arma Unit . So what’s after your recruit period then? After your Basic Training you will conduct in RGJ’s operations and Trainings. You are able to participate in different kinds of courses ranging from Forward Air Controller Course to Demolitions Expert. You are also able to go up in rank and become a Section Leader or Section 2IC or even higher. There is a lot to do in the RGJ but our main goal is to have fun in Armed Assault in the way we play it. Finally our server has been set online come in for a game, we do not only play Evolution we will be hosting all kinds of COOPs durning the evening just pop on our Server filter: Royal to find it. Also for better teamplay join our teamspeak server at: 91.186.24.106:8784 password: bold
We also have been growing fast we now have a full section, we have also opened new roles in our Unit: Fixed Wing Pilot, Rotary Pilot and Tank Crewman So if you are up for some great teamplay and are up for a bit of a laugh then don't look further then the ROYAL GREEN JACKETS |
