Hi. Does anyone know if there are plans to migrate some of our favorite OFP mods (like FDF) over to ARMA? I don't know if this is even possible for the mod creators but it would be great to have.

i think alot of mod teams will eventualy take the switch to arma.
without Oxygen 2 we will won't know exsactly how hard/easy it will be to configure the old addons for arma. there might be something in the new Oxygen that makes it a little easier (We can hope) -------------------- WW2 Fanatic. |

Some teams previously involved in OFP modding are working hard to recreate their work in ArmA. One e.g. for all (my all time fav) FDF Mod

lo folks,
Tis hard to imagine some of the famous ofp mods in ArmA at the mo. I think once we have island tools and more 'european' looking areas to roll across then it will be easier to picture. Although one thing im praying for is CSLA + Update II *drool* that would be quite something. But yes, once we break free of the deserty, sandy, middle eastern feel of sahrani mods like FDF will be much more anticipated! ... will be interesting to see who didnt survive the transition! I hadn't realised Oxygen was a stumbling block - bumber. But yes, once that's out of the way I'm sure we'll be seeing the same level of MODing enthusiasm as we did/do with OFP. Come the day!
