Who would've thunk it. No easier way to tank the next Star Wars movie by destroying the fans' only hope Disney would at least leave some stones unturned.

Walt Disney is closing down LucasArts and outsourcing development to external developers. I hope that Mickey bastard dies a slow and painful death From beyond the grave! Whoooooooooooooooooooo! Bugga bugga bugga! (Fun Fact, Walt Disney wasn't actually frozen, he was cremated.) Jokes aside, yet still on the subject, LucasArts was pretty much a shambling corpse anyhow. All the people and creativity that made the company was gone, they were pretty much slapping the Star Wars brand on whatever new widget would make them a quick buck. No tears being shed here. (plenty of phlegm, though, did I mention I was ill?) -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Well, considering the wonders Mr Abrams has done for Star Trek, there's little doubt in my mind that these new films will live up to expectations

Over night my favourite wallpaper website has been flooded with lame walls from some weird ass Japanese anime series. Girls and Panzer. What the flying, actual, fecking hell. Pedobear-tastic school girls who play around with big ass Nazi tanks, or something like that.
Jeez what's wrong with the people over there. -------------------- |

Ahhh! Geordies!
I bought a BluRay player. And I know have the Bourne trilogy, Firefly, Skyfall and Band of Brothers in HD to watch. Goodbye weekend. I also had to lead a group of jaffo's in constructing a flying fox over a creek to transport a casualty in a stretcher via a line. Somehow, no one died. And somehow, I've learned shit about ropes and constructing rescue systems in the last 6 months that I thought was all about trying not to kill myself or anyone else. -------------------- |

A zip-line, more or less, the must have got the victim in a basket and send it down the line.
Rope rescues are the best, tricky but wonderful. |

What, for the love of God, is a 'flying fox'? One of these cute lil' fellas: Mammals! Better swimmers than fish, and better flyers than birds! (I don't for the life of me know how they handle the upside down thing... I'm getting disorientated just looking at it! ) EDIT: Looks like "Lil'" Kim's telling the Embassies to bugger off. Guess it's time to take bets, folks! I give them 3 days, any takers? -------------------- The Rules - Nothing too complicated, follow these and we'll have no problems.

Jokingly, I asked me mother for a swift cure against tiredness. Jokingly, she said to me brother "give him a slap that'll wake him up". Laughing hysterically, me brother knocked me off my chair!
At least I'm fully awake now! In other news, harrumph, on this day in history... Ahem. Anyway, three more years to go and they'll set the 'cured!'-stamp on me back. Yeah, that's what happened on this day in history. -------------------- |

Anyone played War Thunder or World of Warplanes? Is it like Il-2 or is an arcade thing?

The former no, the latter yes. It's much more arcade like than Il-2 and tbh nowhere near as rewarding to play.

War Thunder I did not mind for a bit of no brains fun now and again, but it was just a shiny version of World of Tanks really, with air planes. The sim mode appeals however no one plays it full-real at the times I am on. So it got uninstalled.
